      That's a windows driver :-)

I have included a driver in the latest kernel build above, test it with Sam's ROM and post a DMESG

First of all, thanks for the great work everybody It looks like you've got a working KK Rom now and i want to install it on my stick this weekend to see if it works. But i'm a bit confused now: which version is working best now? I don't have a LAN-adapter (yet ) so i only want to use WiFi and have the best possible performance in SPMC/XBMC. Is 1080p now possible? Which rom should download? Which kernel?

*update: can i flash from Win8.1 or should i use Win7?

*update 2: how do i get it to flash? I'm seeing the device in the RKBatchTool but it's pink. When i load the FW and press 'switch' the device goes away but doesn't come back in Flasmode (green).. How to flash it now?

This is an update to my ROM

              What is new
1: fixed the issue where the WiFi/bluetooth would not switch on properly on the first boot
2: updated the kernel to the latest from D33
3: changed the flashing tool/img format so the user can have control over what to flash
4: included are 3 kernels they are located in the "Extra Kernels" folder

please insure if upgrading from Jelly bean that you flash the loader

Please switch the kernel in RKAndroidTool to "kernel_D33_HD" it is located in the "Extra Kernels" folder

              link to My ROM

                Thankyou Sam123

Dont quite no what happened but followed instructions flashing rom, not using the extra kernals, with loader selected, screens during flashing and after.

Same screen after resetting, maybe just a bad flash, see images below.

Flashed the kernel_D33_HD kernel from the extra kernels folder and perfect

Wifi now connecting and stays on after switching stick on and off.
                Bluetooth is also working.

                Video files playing smoothly

                No Hdmi Flickering, screen solid

So fingers crossed I think I now have the perfect rom for this device, so once again a big thankyou to Sam123 for his patience and commitment in getting users a great working rom, and D33 for his great work on the kernel.

                Il keep testing...

I dont know if it is a coincidence but replaced the power supply from the cheap crappy one supplied also after flashing rom, as I was experiencing anomoly previously with wifi etc, who knows.

                      DAmo,

I have already put a QF9700 driver in my kernel. Is it not working? Can you provide DMESG?

have you installed the Rockchip drivers, try putting it in flash mode by using the Fn button/reset button it is on the side of your stick, there might not be a button there but there will be a small hole, keep the button pressed down while plugging it in to your PC

Yes and yes I've got a driverpackage installed calle 'Fuzhou Rockchip (Rockusb) Rockusb Device (08/05/2013 3.70.000)' and have tried turning it on whilst holding the reset button for almost a minute. No good: the rockchiptool didn't even find it... Are perhaps the drivers wrong? I'm using W8.1 could that be a problem?
