    I test with the "kernel_Stock_no_OC.img"
I confirm that the videos are very smooth (with SMPC for example) !!

    Edit :
Found eHome on the forum to make work RKM remote

But this kernel do not display on my TV (1368*768) work only on my PC monitor.
I will try to flash my previous stock 4.4 kernel wich work on it ...

OK. People with the reboot issue try this kernel, if it does not work then it is impossible to overclock your stick

here are some alternative kernels, these have the RAM overclocked using init at the start for the RAM. these may or may not work depending on your stick, I do know these work on boards labeled CYX_809III V5_0 20140510 but i'm pretty sure that they will work on boards labeled V2_1 20140208
I do strongly recommend that you consider extra cooling as these sticks do get hot, you have been warned

this is the performance you can expect, just a guideline

        all are running at
        CPU 1.6Ghz GPU 600 Mhz

        kernel_D33_HD AnTuTu v5.1 score 13190
HD RAM 400 Mhz kernel AnTuTu v5.1 score 14729
HD RAM 667 Mhz kernel AnTuTu v5.1 score 15322
HD RAM 720 Mhz kernel AnTuTu v5.1 score 16825
HD RAM 800 Mhz kernel AnTuTu v5.1 score 17085

Big thanks to D33 for the kernel source and fixing WiFi and bluetooth

Didn't realise I'd 'broken' the RAM init. I've been playing with forcing wait States and obviously didn't put it back properly *embarrassed*

            Hi sam321,

            Thanks d'or all thé kernels.
            On my mk809 v2_1 20140208
Kernel of thread #242 is booting and seems to work fine. Is this an overclocked one ?

None of these kernels are booting :-(

Hello. Is it possible to use these kernel in custom ROM? if no, what is the recommended ROM

                Comment

Thanks for new kernel, I will test the changes later

                  For now, I have the 4.4.2 rom post 102 ( http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...l=1#post228965) :

                  -
It is not rooted (but simple to make with windows tools like rootgenius)
                  The blutooth is missing
The 4 core are always at 1000 MHz

                  +
But the videos are perfectly smooth with SPMC (http://spmc.semperpax.com/)
                  AnTuTu score of around 21000

                  edit : 720p

We can create a kernel for custom ROM?

I believe the RK3188-T in stock rom is dynamic between 300MHz and 1400MHz

                        RK3188 (not T) up to 1600MHz

But in fisrst kernel of d33 in my RK3188-T de speed clock is 1,6 but in this new kerner my speed clock is 1,4 ¿?¿?

the new hardware is shit :-(

Unless you have a significant heatsink or cooling solution you won't even be able to use 1ghz on full load for a long period of time with these clones, you'll soon get a reboot.

When I had the device, even with a heatsink the size of the SOC, running without the case, I'd still get reboots due to overheating, you're either looking at a large heatsink or a fan/heatsink combo.
                            Currently Using:
2 x Nvidia Shield TV | MiniMX III
                            Retired Devices:
                            MiniMX III-II | Mk808b Pro | Mk808b Plus | Raspberry Pi 1 + 2 | UBOX R89 | MK808 | MK808b | CS008 | X1 4K (rk3288_809) | CYX_809III | Ouya | CX-919 | S82 Plus | Tronstmart R68

I have a big heatsink and fan. I have no reboots or temperature problems.

with this Kernel, cpu speed is increased to 1,6Mhz:

                              http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...All-(well-most!)

I do not understand if the new kernel is OC, why works not 1.6Mhz?
