UPDATE
From the extra kernels folder
Flashed kernal:
kernel_Stock_no_OC :Get the corrupted screen
kernel_D33_SD :Get the corrupted screen
kernel_D33_HD:Works ok, no corrupted screen.
After flashing last night your rom with kernel _D33_HD the wifi connected, authenticated and stays connected for 3 reboots.
But this morning the problematic Wifi again not connecting, even though shows full strenth in the settings screen. When I click to forget my home wifi and try to connect it again the authentication screen doesnt come up. WTF
Cant way it up

Btw would this file give an indication why the WiFi connects using the Hd version on your kernel with Sams new rom, than seems to stop working
Thank You
If it helps this is the Dmesg is from Sams Jellybean rom, and the wifi works properly on this
ThanksLast edited by Damo; 28 September 2014, 18:29.Please consider donating to purchase tablets for Finless Bob to continue his work. This will help in the creation of custom roms and build an even stronger development base for our community. Thank you for you support!

OK, I have been trying to work this out all day and I found the following out
1: QF9700 lan adapter does now work, how do I know, simple, I rang around all my friends and eventually got one, I can provide a DMESG for proof
2: D33 kernel does not overclock the RAM, how do I know, simple, I built my own kernel and found out the RAM needs init at the start, so he is init @300mhz and that is where it stays with my kernel set @667mhz it is much faster proven by Antutu
and as for the WiFi I just cannot get it to fail, if I cannot reproduce the problem then I cannot fix it, Damo are you sure you have not got a lot of people around you on the same WiFi channel, I had the same problem a while ago until I trained my neighbours lol

I have mine set to channel 11, so its away from the neighbours. Its just weird that it happens with Kitkat roms. The jellybean rom you made , with fixed video stutter just works with the WiFi, every time the stick is turned on and off.
Even the stock Kit Kat rom from China the WiFi don't work.
Is it a faulty WiFi chip ? Seems strange how it would work on Jelly bean. Think I made the wrong choice when I was looking on ****, didn't realise there where so many variations or clones of the Mk809iii, who the heck makes the original one. Please consider donating to purchase tablets for Finless Bob to continue his work. I know what you mean about clones of the clones, I stopped worrying about that a year or so ago and just gave up I do not know how D33 does it, I would have given up a long time ago, which I did lol. unfortunately I don't know what is happening with your WiFi it should work , although I will keep testing

I have my lan adaptor plugged into a homeplug near the stick, but I have had no success getting that to work. Has yours got a micro usb connector or is it full size usb. Please consider donating to purchase tablets for Finless Bob to continue his work.
