Top work Sam. I'll upload a 720 res kernel when I get a moment, just in case it is useful and I'll compile the two USB drivers mentioned.

After that I think I'm done on this one.

Flashed this morning before work, followed instructions , although WiFi showed up in the list it would not connect. Did factory reset, restarted a few times and connected to WiFi 😊 .





Bluetooth works.





Will play more tonight, but a big thankyou to Sam123 and D33

Seems the WiFi does not keep connection after turning my stick back on tonight. Turned WiFi off than it said not in range.

Did another factory reset , entered password, but does not authenticate.

Seems like the same problem with all the other kit Kat roms I've tried.

I fixed the original problem with my ROM, I am going to upload a new one. just so you know every time you do a factory reset it causes the old problem to appear, as a temporary fix until I upload my new ROM try this, do a factory reset, wait until it loads into android OS and just remove all power, do not try to shut it down properly. And as a side note your lan adapter should work now on this ROM. Have you tried it ?

Where did you get qf9700 drivers from? The ones I downloaded have problems with usbnet and net_device structs

The lan adaptor is plugged into the micro usb port on the stick, I presume this will work from that port.



Turned on ethernet in settings, again I presume it auto configures as there are no settings, only to set a static ip address.

No you misunderstand, the original ROM would not work with any lan adapter. The ROM I made will work with any lan adapter it as long as the drivers are present in the kernel or are loaded up manually, sorry for the confusion

Right, so your KK ROM + my latest KK Kernel should work together to provide the answer.

Well for the lan adapter you should not have to do anything at all as that is what DHCP is for. As for the WiFi not working I am truly confused, it should work. obviously more work needs to be done on my side. Thanks for your important feed back, I did hope to have more people to test out the ROM as I need feed back to fix problems . I am just one person after all, people use these devices in all different ways and it is important to catch the bugs
