                    i tried both the pipo stock rom & the Riley rom.

                    im relatively experienced at firmware flashing so I don't think it is error on my part.

                      Noticed this post so just want to say that I too have faced this issue where the display randomly just goes off ( I am not flashing or anything). Then I need to plug in the USB cable and it comes back.

                        usb cable connected to pc or not? i'll rather try with power cable. and last few days tablet doesn't want to "die". i can't try this with cables!

                          I think with PC, don't remember.

                          There is a kind of notification to the tablet, that will wake it up.

                              of course, that is more logic than just plugged cable.

                              but, as i wrote earlyer, my tablet didn't die for a seven, maybe even ten days, with no interference to settings or something. so, there is really no obvious cause to that deep sleep.
