On the sdcard all I changed was permissions - TB was able to read the SD card no problem at all.
I really don't want to be messing around with the standard setup either, I'll see how it goes with your rom.

I'm running the Kasty rom so those 'extra' apps aren't there.

There's not really a lot of bloat, I'd need to reflash back to stock to check, I'll do that and get back to you.

After a bit of a false start when I thought I'd bricked it (took a long time to boot after flashing your stock rom) all flashed OK.

First things first - it does the touchscreen calibration as part of the setup wizard, not sure if that's needed but only takes a few seconds to run so no problem with that I think.
The wizard also asks about location permissions - option for 'Use my location for improved Google Search results and other Google Services' is greyed out, guess that's because there'n no Google play etc.
No third party apps to install - which matches your comments about them being in NAND and losing them with a new rom, not a problem for me.

That isn't a huge amount, certainly not all the crap there was on the 10G2, at this stage not sure it's worth removing any of them.

<edit> Thinking about it on your other roms you talk about fragmentation so may be better as with the other roms to remove everything bar Explorer (and settings).
Only exception may be the startup wizard as that includes the Google location setup, wi-fi, time zone etc.

BTW I notice the other place has released an updated rom based on yours - credited Bob and AlleyTrotter which is nice!

Hi - are you sure you clicked 'Erase IDB' first?
Once that has finished tick the 'Loader' box and then click 'Run'

It will calibrate the screen as part of the start-up wizard, you have to click the button when it's finished doing that or it will just keep calibrating.

I see what you mean - not sure what to suggest then, looks like you've done it all OK.
Have you tried another reboot - and perhaps do a reset -not factory, just use the reset button on its own.

but i must say i have ARNOVA 10b G3 4GB buy on germany

here all can see the complet way i erase and flash new

and here all can see i use from the factory 10g2 firemware and the touchscreen is working but i have no wlan and other bug´s

and reset i have make but it´s smae resultat the touchscreen is not work

On the second video if you're installing the 10G2 rom then it won't work properly, surprised the touchscreen works at all! The WLAN chip has changed so it now has wireless 'N' so that probably won't work at all.

You could try the Kasty rom from here :

This version is using the same rom images as Bob is, slightly later than the originals they were using.
TBH I've had a couple of issues with this one so I'm on the original Kasty rom.
