    I hope you enjoy it as much as I did preparing this rom. Thank you all.

    Spacial Thank you to Petrus, 900supersport and scooter2014 for their support.
    Thank you for this ROM.
    I have TV-box B351_BT (version 1.0). Device working normally with this ROM, except TV-out. This function not working in any 4.4.2 firmwares?

          Smic,

          Infin1ty asked a great question ill email the manufacture on as well, Noticed my old x5 has soooo many video settings with 60'50,30,24, hrz in the resolution settings and all the releases for these roms from maufacture have a few 3-4 max, Having more is always better and also helps with end user and with so many tv models out think its a valued addition to the software.

          what are your thoughts?
          Many devices now mk902ii/Shield/Mk68 /Ugoos/neox5/minix5 (yes they still work lol) mk80 no it doesnt work lol.

            Hey guys, got a quick question about remounting drives programmatically.

            I'm writing a little app atm and I'm getting stuck when trying to remount system.

            The code I am using works for all other commands but remount where it generally just freezes the process and FC's. My Process is started with SU permissions and the same lines work perfectly when I copy/paste them into a terminal. With regards to logcat, there are no direct errors showing from the program but there is an error generated from SE stating that I am trying to access as user 1000, but I'm actually user 1013 (or something along those lines) which makes me believe it is still a permission issue.
            Code:
            final Runtime terminal = (Runtime) Runtime.getRuntime();
            final Process process = terminal.exec("su");
            DataOutputStream stdout = new DataOutputStream(process.getOutputStream());

            stdout.writeBytes("mount -rw -o remount -t ext4 /dev/block/mtdblock8 /system\n");
            stdout.flush();
            I've also tried:

            mount -o rw,remount /system
            mount -o rw,remount /dev/block/mtd/by-name/system /system

            And I have also tried changing the arguments from:

            "-o rw,remount" to "-rw -o remount", as well as adding "-t ext4"

            I can also verify that the code works on a different device with an earlier version of Android so as much as I wanted to post this in the app forum, I'm not quite sure if this is something to do with the rom, or maybe there are extra steps needed for KK permissions that I am not aware of?

            Any thoughts would be appreciated!

            (I wanted to upload a couple screenshots but apparently the attachment system is not working properly, keeps saying they are not valid image files? I'll try it again later. All functions but Sleep and the RGB custom settings are working fine. RGB custom settings (CWM & NTFS installations) are ready to go once I can get the remount on system to work from within the application)

              I'd be happy to get more info regarding this suggestion, as well as test any adjustments out as this seems like it could potentially resolve my current 1080p issue.

                    I've been using this ROM for a few weeks on my mk902 and I must say its is the single most stable ROM I have used on the mk902. (I had the infamous screen blanking issue with the Jellybean ROMs)

                    Huge props to smic.

                    I'm not a big 1080 user but that would be nice in the future. (tried a couple d33 kernels but they were unstable with this. Boot loops. Oh well.)

                    I have noticed some minor glitchyness with XBMC but those seem to be solved with a couple recent nightly builds.

                      Hi guys, here is the V3 beta with better kernel. The only changes in this version are the kernels. Ricomagic boot, because Scooter didn't like the old one , also the camera is now fixed.

                      I´m uploading the full rom is someone wants to download it as a package, also i´m including links to the OC versions of the kernels 1.7, 1.8 and 1.9. There are 2 versions of each so please let me know if you have any problems with any of the versions.

                      The kernel included with the ROM is 1.6. In Kernels OC are 1.7, 1.8 and 1.9 versions. If you already use the V2 of this ROM you dont have to flash everything. Just copy the kernel you want to the ROM folder, in the RKAndroid Tool unselected everything except kernel, this way you can just flash the kernel you want and keep all your programs and settings.

                      MK902-KitKat4.4-SMIC717394 Rom V3

                      Kernels OC V1

                      Kernels OC V2

                      Thank you.

                              Got the new V3 1.6 kernel up and running. Its working great.

                              I am still seeing a little glitchyness but now I am starting to think it might not be the kernel but the apps.

                              First, here is one I can easily reproduce.

                              Open up the included web browser and go to wunderground.com (yes I know XBMC will use this site but it doesnt show the night temperatures) then choose a weather site. Part way in as its loading the weather site, the browser will crash. I installed Firefox for Android and it doesnt do this which makes me think its just the included web browser.

                              Next I cant reproduce easily.

                              Occasionally XBMC will immediately crash when started. It will crash 3 or 4 times in a row but if I am persistent it will usually come up.

                              Also, this new kernel seems to have introduced some noticeable frameyness back to videos that are playing in XBMC. Its not enough to be super annoying but its there. (should I try the 1.7 kernel?)

                              (Before anyone suggests it, I am not a big fan of BXBMC. Its has far to much preinstall aka bloat and too much eye candy for my tastes. I would rather add that myself. And some of the preinstall stuff even script crashes.)

                              I just wanted to mention some of these things in case someone would like to try and reproduce them to see if they are solvable. Right now the box is working good enough for me.

                                check the 1.7 out its fast cool i think both kernels 720 p as those play with no issues testing a new box ill post soon as i get chance to test, The bxbmc dont have issue on the 1.7 and first oc kernels, everything running fine at 720? keep mine running with kids playing with it if anyone can crash it its them!!
