Cool. The 1.7 kernel actually solved another issue I was having. XBMC now continues to play while the clock widget alarm is sounding.

XBMC frameyness is gone but that might be for several other reasons as well like, I noticed using WIFI analyzer that I was stepping on a neighbor's WIFI. So I bumped mine up to channel 12. Also, instead of setting XBMC internet bandwidth limitation OFF I set it to the highest value, just in case OFF means that XBMC is eating up all the processor just to listen to the net. Whatever it was, I now have smooth movies from my NAS device.

I'm still having the "have to restart XBMC several times" issue, browser crashes, and now I even had a hard reboot once.

maybe that why crashes in xbmc? beyond stable here. still testing though.

Thank you Smic! Everything is working good. This is the best rom so far. I have only one small issue:
allways after reboot have to set screen scale again. Does anyone have the same poblem?

Hi veljazlee, yes it has to be KK. Change the resolución to 50Hz and should keep the screen scale after reboot.

I tested all previous roms and i didnt have such problem.My mk902 is connected to computer monitor true hdmi-vga adapter, and i only have two options: 1920*1080-60hz
1280*720-60hz and same options where on all previos roms, but now on KK i got scale issue.
I will try on other monitor/tv and other type connection.

hmm myne does the same on 60Hz and i use 1080p 50Hz and done. ill have a look

Hi Smic Sorry been testing few devices and now back on mk902' The kernels for all these builds is getting large now so i made a folder to keep them all sorted, ver 2 seems to run hotter then ver 1 for some reason but tested all and all work fine with beyond and gotham, i didnt get 1.9 to work in ver 2 booted but rebooted as well, er 1 all worked, after testing i found the kernel 1.7 the most stable but for some reason playstore crapped out (no connection ) after two days? I reloaded and fine??? I switched to kernel from post 994 in kitkat for all thread ( your oc ones for those ) i think ver one most stable. Maybe adding in as many resolution settings liike minix roms would help everyone with display issue, 1080-60,50,40,30,25 720, same

I thought that too then double checked new rom and v1V2 kernels from new rom so ill check again but dont think so, Ya last box flashed old kernel lol,,,, re testing v2 again lol.

Hi guys,

Here is the V4 of the kernel, we are getting there. In this versions I fixed allot of problems. Video scale on 60Hz, Audio Pass through for multi-channels, updated the SU. I also include 1.7 and 1.8 version of the kernels.

I have been testing it for few days and I found no problems. Hope you guys like it.

You have to flash the entire rom, not just the kernel.

Could someone confirm if this one works on MK802IV AP6210 and what kind of kernel it has, 720p or 1080p.

stock kernel or still use v1 or v2 oc kernels? Because lots of kernels out now maybe stay with best on and go from there id say ver 1 best speed so stick with that and everything works even at 1.9 so best so far, i have about 30 different kernels for mk902 now time to just imporove on last from D33.
