Nope. It's the ROM. Tried with wired mouse too. The same thing happens. Mouse scroll lags for about 500ms (I've just noticed it's the transitions too) and then becomes smooth as long as I don't rest it for more than 2-3 secs. It is the throttling I beleive.

Tried also another mouse and actually it doesn't have to do anything with the mouse. Transitions from screen to screen or from homescreen to app drawer lag too. Rebooted also just to be sure. Clearly a kernel issue.

does it do this everytime you use it, or just when you start using your mouse after inactivity? Did you install any of the cpu patchers? If so which one? While this is happening what is your temp and cpu frequency? Is your ram used up? there can be many factors in this. on any stock rom the cpu throttles when hot. if you did use the cpu patch maybe you have one of the boxes that have problems at lower frequencies.

oh your using "launcher 3" that launcher blows harder than kenny g. Get a new launcher bud. I had a 5 second lag with that amlogic crap.

I'm using cpu_fix1296. RAM usage is low, straight from boot, nothing running. This thing happens after 2-3 seconds inactivity and then mouse and transitions (basically the whole rom) becomes laggy for about half a second. Temp is @58 celsius. I am not on a stock ROM, this is finless 1.5 I'm using. I don't believe I have a problematic unit since the temp at idle is 50C and when starting using mouse it ramps to 61C (running wanam cpu temp in statusbar).

I am using nova launcher right now. Same problem. I will try the other cpu_fixes to see what happens.

wanam cpu if I'm not mistaken is a xposed module. If it is, what tweaks are you using? Also are you using ART or dalvik? If you are tweaking system paramaters with anything make sure its compatible with all variables. If not, without logs I don't think anyone can help you bud.

Uninstalled cputemp in statusbar xposed module. Situation imrpoved but less annoying this time.

i put the 1.5 on the other box to now the 16g and there it runs fine to also no cpu fix i get 30K on both and both show the 19xx cpu. and remote works fine on both to.

this is working so good on my elite. ill test it on the otter one later. but why do we have to use the cpu_fix. ? it runs fine. so is there a need to use it. ? will it change something. ?
I just use the box for xbmc

Alternate keyboard

This is for anyone wanting the alternate keyboard I removed from the stock ROM.
Basically the stock ROM had 2 keyboards. The AOSP and the English Remote Input Method. I removed this keyboard and left the AOSP keyboard.

Some want it back so here goes.

Download this zip. Do not unzip it. Put it on SDcard and install it the usual update way. Easy way is to use the update APP. This will install the Remote Keyboard Input Method that I removed from the ROM.

To use it:
1) Go to setting and Language and Input
2) Turn on the Remote Keyboard Input Method (check box next to it).
3) Go into Default (click the line) and select English - Remote Keyboard Input method.
Your done and now have the other keyboard back.

I don't know to be honest. Some have reported that their remote with mini keyboard wont work without this keyboard being used.

I just don't have all the hardware out there to test stuff with so it is impossible for me to know everything about every keyboard, mouse, joystick, gamepad, etc.

Install any ... go to xbmc.org and get gotham beta 2

will try it, tronsmart/amlogic normally have an edited version which works great on their boxes.
