Hello,

I`m very fresh in point of Android and TV Box. And sorry for my bad English. I have longtime a apple TV2 - and this works fine with xbmc and an premium online HD Stream Service. I have buy now for a Second room this Box. But the Streaming Performance is not good LAN or WLAN. The Picture is sharp and good but the Stream stutter every 5, 10 or 30 Seconds.

I have Try
XBMC 13.0 - stutter
XBMC XAF + mx Player - better but microstutter
XBMC 13 13.1 - better but not like atv2
preinstalled Beyond XBMC - same

the android performace is good.

so i have search the www and find this nice Forum.

I have read the last day very much her, but iam not sure what i have. And what can i do für a smooth playback for 720p 1080p Streams? This box is for Streaming only

what about waters kernel or lewy firmwares? I will not brick the box.

To fix micro-stutter = rkpatchomatic
Xbmc v13 stutter = v13 needs root to work properly.. on most units
-do you have root?

Im thinking, first backup Firmware, then use 'rkpatch' then root

Can you post a pic or..info about wifi chip ect

I will test - what you say in the evening and hope it will fix it. In debug modus CPUs run around 25-30%, no buffering - Internet Line is on 32Mbit constant - and stutter. I wish patchomatic will fix it.

Today i have dump the rom`s.

the i have tryed to make the vsyncfix in kernel. I was working.

After Reboot i get only a black screen. The tv see a hdmi signal every 10 sec. but i see only blackscreen.

I have the original kernel.img flash back - also black.

Okay nothing to loose -
i have try levys firmware - it was easy to flash - but i see only the nice Logo in Loop :-(
after 10min i tryed again
after 15min i try the original img`s - only black screens.

what can i do now? i hope i have noch error in the stuck roms. I never seen her.

As you cannot go back from 4.4 to 4.2.. without re-installing the 4.2 boot.loader

but Movie and hd stream Playback stutter to. (The Same Sources on appletv Not)

Today i flashed Wasser firmware 1.2.5 (no WLAN, LAN)
and my own Patched Kernel. Now Run all, LAN and WLAN. Xmbc 13.1 With mx player and arm7codec. Yipiii, no stutter. Now Play hd streams perfectly.

after few days of experiments, Iam now on default start

PS: the new firmware 1.0.3 boots only to the animated logo - an i see the home a few seconds and reboot

but i think together we find a good working solution
