Yes, I am using oman's source. attached file is kernel configuration which was extracted from 105K4 boot.img.

UHID and HID_SONY are included.

Uhmm, I see. then probably something is wrong with Sixaxis Controller App. I have never used that app under Kitkat, not sure if that could be the issue.

In any case, if gamepad is recognized we can use Tincore Keymapper I guess which is much better app than Sixaxis in my opinion.

I have also tried a wired xbox controller and tried connecting the ps3 controller via usb cable to the box with the same problems - the box wont detect them and wont sync with them.

This is with and without the sixaxis app.

Box works fine with ipega PG-9017.

Can you check any conflict between any apps? Or can you try to connect with vanilla status (clean firmware with kernel drivers only)?

For PS3 controller, I have no idea at this time.

Woomg, The people saying it is not working is on the ENY M8 box.
It's kernel may not have those drivers.

If you like I can pull the DTD from it.

Install terminal emulator from the play store.

run it

type su and agree to the super user prompt.
type lsmod
it should list these kernel modules as installed:
xpad.ko
joydev.ko
gameport.ko

Woomg, so you know for the ENY M8 only joydev will insmod.

When you try to insmod xpad.ko or gameport.ko you get an error in the terminal of:
Directory not found.

Dmesg says this:
<4>[ 598.594141@0] xpad: Unknown symbol led_classdev_unregister (err 0)
<4>[ 598.594722@0] xpad: Unknown symbol led_classdev_register (err 0)

Usually when I see this it means it's already in the kernel?

Tested on xbox360 wired not original gamepad with dead trigger 2 and works great will do some testing with the ps3 also thanks woomg,Bob

I have got it working wired but not wireless?
