EDIT]] Currently I have rom for s89, and eny-m8. those rom already builtin module 'ff_memless'. So I think X8-H has different behaviour. Where is the location I can download the ROM?

Why is this Italian guy announcing that XBOX and PS3-Controller drivers are installed and usable natively?

I have a wireless XBOX360 + USB-Receiver as well as PS3 Controllers.

I have installed the latest ROM from GardwareGuru (X8-v1.8-Public-FactoryReset2.zip).
Do the drivers work on it as well?
In the meantime it's getting a little bit confusing because of stocks, betas, public, finless custom ROMS, modules...

OK I am up!

I will work on install ZIPs for each box type.

For now it will use init.d scripts. So you must be on one of my ROMs that adds init.d
Minix X8 would be finless 1.0
I will also do one for stock Minix ROM since Minix does have init.d built in.
ENY M8 any Finless ROM.
S82/S89 is already done.

But why are they advertising this box on the exhibition with these features being already included?
Moreover, I am very happy that Hardware Guru added the 1080/720 24p support.
Strange is also that my ROM first of all shows the Finless 1.0 Bootlogo which is then followed by Hardwaregurus Bootanimation?! I have not installed Finless 1.0 so far...please help ;-)
Still waiting for HD-Audio Passthrough, 3D frame packed + MKV-MVC support and in the long run autoframerate detection.
I am looking forward to your news.

I cannot help with the Guru ROM. Maybe he does not flash logo? I have no clue.

As for the other stuff you have to wait until things get developed.

Why a video shows it works is beyond me. I did not make the video but clearly it doesn't work without these KO modules installed.

Installed ENY M8

Have either PS3 or Xbox plugged in also logitech kr400 KYB adapter.
load into to game asphalt 8.
No game pad detection if I unplug Kr400 adapter screen mentions game pad disconnected.

Reboot no kr400 adapter....PS3 gamepad, no control when game loaded
Reboot Xbox 360 plugged no control when game loaded
LSmod shows joydev and xpad

Doing something wrong this side?
New at this GamePad business with android...all tips and hints greatly appreciated

Further testing with Xbox only controller, reboot with it plugged in nothing, reboot then plug in nothing in game. In game will tell me if I either remove mouse or Keyboard adapter that gamepad removed but nothing when I remove gamepad.

Hi Bob,
Here is morning again.... ^^;

I think you need modifying the title for posting because it makes something confusing to people.
My kernel drivers are not related PS3 yet. It's only for XPAD now.

AKAIK, single wired PS3 controller will work on the S89 (not sure other boxes) without any driver, however it will show wrong keymap.

So from now on, I will investigate to find PS3 solution (not guaranty..).

I modified your 1.7 ROM and installed at other TV box named Giec X6 4k with s802, but wifi and remote must be changed and is OK now, thanks for your great job.
