Downgrading from 105k4 to 104k4 hangs me on Tronsmart Logo Screen !!!

    OK I happen to understand a little what's going on with the frame rate, Maybe.

    What resolution is the videos your playing? Is it 4K?

      No Bob ...

      Full Hd movie from the same stream ( mashup ) on the same TV with
      100k4 and 104k4 i wad getting a steady 60FPS while all other FW were around 53-55 and with minor drops to 45-48..

      I can make a video illustrating the above if you like

        Do this for me.

        1) Install terminal emulator from the play store.
        2) run it and type su
        3) Agree to the superuser prompt
        4) type dmesg -c
        5) reboot the box
        6) As fast as you can run the terminal emulator and type
        su
        dmesg > /sdcard/dmesg.txt
        copy the dmesg.txt file out and send it to me.

          In which box do you want me to do that ? The last 104k4 i got left or from the latest batch that wont accept 104k4?

            Actually both would be nice. But I am interested in the ones that wont boot 104K4 first.

              sorry to jump in here finless, just wondering if in 1.8 the notification bar will work ? as it works in stock roms but ive found with your roms the notifications show up but you can click on the bar to view them.

                I did not modify that, that's stock from 105K4.

                    I just checked on my new ROM I am working on.

                    You pull down the notification bar. Then on the left click and pull down more and you will see a list of notifications. Now you can click on them.

                    This is pretty standard Kitkat.

                      Yeah it was just something different in 1.7 as was a slight annoyance not being able to clear notifications.

                      Glad its working and thanks for the quick feedback test there

                      are you including your previous fixes ? like 24hz 1080p mode etc etc

                        I just booted 1.7 and I am not seeing what your talking about.
                        Pull down the notifications so it lists them. Click on one and it clears it (or does something).
                        In the pull down list in the upper right is 3 bars. Click that and it clears all notifications (except active ones that you need to resolve to get rid of like keyboard notice).

                        So I don't get what your talking about?

                          Strange as another poster on here had some issues with notifications. I know how they work but just on 1.7 when I click to view notification there was no drop down menu it just attempted to show them vanished within one sec, but on stock same action the drop down menu shows and stays etc maybe a gremlin in system with cache

                                So we can safely conclude that there was indeed a hardware change, which for an unknown yet reason does not allow 104k4 to be flashed !!!
                                Hmmm ...

                                Ok, to save ourselves some time, can just someone enlighten us why 104k4 had the best frame rates, and apply that same logic to 106k4 and be done with it ??? Then we would not want 104k4 even though 106k4 still can't show picture from 13.1 XBMC official !!!!!
