My version is very instable for flash on my cx919. The kernel is kernel_t_ AP6210_HD_CIFS.img
Look my post on the page http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...fi-BETA/page23

    Thanks for all
Believe my, fontsize will be perfect with my pureXbmc rom and the provided 1080p kernels.
If you would spend 5-10 minutes give it a try and report back. Please use t-override test kernels.
But this rom is still JB no KK.

      T- Type

      Hi Walter,

First I want to thank you for this great "work in progress" image!
It runs very stable over here on my CX-919 RK 3188-T, and believe me I tried a lot other roms.

I had many problems running this device, most of them are faillures of the original Chinese power supply, it's crap, I'm feeding the cx919 using the USB from my TV, who is doing this job perfectly. So for users still using the original chinese power supply and having stabbility problems, try to use the TV's USB or another power supply.

Somehow I can't use your TEST kernels Walter, the cx-919 does not start at all, T keeps on saying NO SIGNAL. At this moment I have the kernel_cx919_1080p_ap6210_v1_vsfsam_cpu1608h_gpu60 0h_ddr720.img installed, I'm not sure if it's your build or from D33, but it's not running at 1600mhz but standard at 1200mhz.

Offcourse i would like to try a overclocked T kernel, but for now without success here.

Thanks for your feedback. The kernel you use is from me, it was just a test kernel, the first one with ap6210 wifi enabled. Bluetooth should not work with this kernel. Kernel comes from here:

So can you please test cx919 kernel v7 from first post of this thread? This kernel has the same kernel config as my t-override kernels.

          Hi Walter,

I've installed v7, first run was very slow, mouse cursor appeared and dissapeared after a restart it worked like a charm, no slow mouse issues, with the performance app I'm now able to set it to 1600Mhz. XBMC runs smooth also.

What does this mean? As I've a CX919 with T Type RK3188-T, this kernel should not be able to run at 1600mhz?

That means, that i did some changes on the kernel source i'm working with but i think it's not perfect and perhaps only a cosmetic thing. But if it works for you and xbmc is smooth, take it :-)

We can try to get the right kernel source working with your stick. It works on my cx921b t-chip box.
I'm very busy at the moment so it will take some time...

              Hi Walter,

Well the mouse issue is there, when playing a video strem inside XBMC the mouse movements are slow, but i'm not using the mouse function often So I am patience.

I think it's typical Chinese to put a T on the chip, they probbaly could not find an U on their stamp machine

Have any of you guys, experienced problems when hiding the navigation bar in pureXBMC?

When I hide it, the screen resizes (as I think it should) but then the input of my air mouse or a regular USB mouse for that matter, gets wonky.

By wonky, I mean the pointer moves normally, but I have to position the pointer higher than whatever I want to select, and by exactly the same height as the navigation bar was using before I hid it.

And I can't reach the bottom of the screen to make the navigation bar reappear. I have to exit pureXBMC and then once on the homescreen I can get it back.

As anyone seen this before and do you know a fix for it.

Great ROM by the way walter77, my CX-919 was gathering dust before I flashed this and now I use it on my main TV.

In the Android settings menu> I think under the screen tab there's a radio button called something like show/hide infobar

Perhaps the last JB Rom ever

As people ask me to build a working CX-919 kernel i had to build this rom, cause rom needed special adjustments.
So here is my new custom rom for xbmc media center usage on CX-919 AP6210 wifi TV-Stick. Kernel is based on latest Radxa source and has new HDMI driver and real Rec. 709 color support (16-235).

It's a really freaking fast 1080p full JB Rom and plays 8 GB MKV 1080p files over SMB/UPnP wifi inside my mod of Flumpters Beyond XBMC absolutely smooth with dolby/dts passthrough (haven´t tested bigger files cause i haven´t any).

                    Features

                    - HDMI Output with real REC.709 16-235 color support!
                    - pureXbmc with dolby/dts passthrough

                    - 720/1080 24P/25P support with
                    1920x1080 at 60, 50, 30, 25, 24 Hz
                    1280x720 at 60, 50, 30, 25, 24 Hz
                    720x576 at 50 Hz
                    720x480 at 60 Hz
                    640x480 at 60 Hz

Kernel doubles the framerate at 24/25Hz if your Monitor supports.
24/25 will be displayed at 48/50. No sluggish mouse movement anymore at 24p!
Best viewing experience in XBMC with 60/50 Hz.

                    - Kernel has HDMI-CEC support
                    - Working Bluetooth and Wifi

                    - rom is rooted and should support init.d scripts.
                    - Kernel supports a lot of file systems, like ISO, UDF, NTFS, FAT32, HFS, NFS...
                    - modded launcher with Auto hide system bar option, performance settings, terminal and app background image
                    - 2GB, 4GB, 6GB parameter files
                    Apps i put inside:
Very cool Total Commander file explorer, Reboot (thanks to Petrus), Terminal, YouTube, SuperSu and pureXbmc (mod of Flumpsters Beyond XBMC Beta 3.4, THANKS!).

Thanks to Radxa, Bob, d33, Flumpster, Wasser, Petrus, Lewy, phjanderson, MINIX and all the cool people at Freaktab.com!!Thanks to mo123 for the info about Radxa sources. Thanks to Christian Ghisler for Total Commander

Installed on CX919 running perfectly but no USB mass storage visible

I have installed the kernel and pureXBMC as discribed in the readme and all working great.

only problem is when i connect a mass storage USB drive (FAT formatted) it's not recognized and visible on the file explorer.

anyone who knows how to solve this ?

                        kernel tests

We've tested all 6 of the kernals from ddr400_1-1v to ddr696_1-2v and they all seem to randomly exhibit slow behavior in at least 1 out of every 10 boots, and commonly more often. If the boot animation is slow then it continues to run at something like a frame a second (relatively) to what it normally runs at. This means the boot animation plays at about a frame a second and once booted the mouse cursor updates at about that speed. The device gets quite warm to the touch. Re-powering the device usually fixes the problem, but sometimes it takes a couple tries before it is fast again.

Why is it so inconsistent? Are any of these kernels the stock values? I would prefer stability and reliability over speed and performance.

Tested with same slow boot behaviour with my RK3188-T, it can get very warm overtime so made it run at 1.2ghz . Great stuff for our players otherwise, Thanks for all.

                            Bluetooth

I have been testing the V7 kernel for the past few days and it works great. I have been streaming mkv files perfectly with no stutter.

The one issue I can't seem to resolve is pairing my bluetooth keyboard. When I am in the bluetooth settings, the cx-919 can see my keyboard and but the pairing never finishes/the keyboard never works. This same keyboard works fine on my PC and other android dongles/tablets and it worked fine when I was running stock firmware on the cx-919.

Any help is appreciated as I would like to use the bluetooth keyboard while traveling due to its small size and convenience.

After reviewing some notes, it appears that android 4.2.2 changed the bluetooth stack from BlueZ to a broadcom driver for. Can we look at using the old Bluetooth stack?

I'm not sure if it is kernel related or if you can replace some files at 4.2.2.
