i tried to change /sys/devices/virtual/switch/state from "1" to "0" to hide my HDMI output for german maxdome streaming app.

Hi DKett,
i also tried this App, but it didn't work either.
It's trying to do the same thing, but the state get resetted automatically to "1"

It's a known issue and also discussed at a separate thread...
Only way is to patch it at kernel (build the kernel with setting it to "0")
(only minix had build a test version...)

Great rom! Thank you very much! I have only one issue with S89 Elite. When I'm choosing to power off the device it makes only a reboot. Is this common?

Because I can get it for a good price. I have also no other choice than this model. I don't care about DTS.

Hi Finless.


Vega S89 Elite -1.8 - stop option is set by vse screen wallpaper.
screen resolution of 1920x1080.
device is 1080.
1920x1080 wallpaper rocked.
wallpaper set on 2/3 of the screen.
no program's wallpaper is not helping.
similar problem in 1.8.

constant problems with it.
and he's so uncomfortable.
set it is a horror.
nothing else to use?
I use ES for watching movies on the network from a PC.
first resolution is reset to 720 ---- I could not understand why. then pulled out and inserted again HDMI ----- redefined and became 1080.

Got my S89-H today (jerks charged 20 duty on it) and stuck 1.8 on it without a hitch.

Very smooth device with loads of power although i do sort of miss the bottom taskbar but you adjust quick.

Few minor quirks but iam guessing there related to the stock firmware and not bob work.
