Good idea but soon we will see box with hdmi 2.0, gigabyte ethernet, 802.11ac like Ugoos UT3. Why not affiliate with radxa for next gen tv-box since radxa team is realy pushing hard on linux instead of android, so you could take developpement for android on that hardware?

Just ignore the whiners. I have a hard time imagining you'll become a billion dollar company, but I'd be thrilled if you did. I was thinking of getting a Beelink, but I may just order the Freakbox when it's ready for the purpose of support. Keep up the great work.

will the freakbox be able to stream true 1080p content from youtube and netflix? 4k support? thanks!

Got my Freakbox today
Been playing around with it, installing apps and the Google Now launcher (sorry). Everything's running absolutely fine!
Here's my first question: the Box has a rather annoying time-out, blackening the screen and muting the audio after 2 or 3 minutes of not moving the cursor. How can I change that, or even turn it off?

My pleasure. How do you flash the Freakbox? Through recovery, or connected to a pc with the Rockchip toolkit? The printed manual doesn't say anything about updating the firmware.
