Open source means we produced this stuff basically for free, but as the license states, we know there is a cost in the re-distribution of this stuff and we don't think that cost should be carried by the re-distributer. The originators of the software want it spread, otherwise there is no point in producing it. Also this is the only real way innovation can happen in the open source community. If nobody can afford to re-distripute, then this stuff goes nowhere, the license was drawn up to make this clear.

If you have an issue with GPL policy take it up with the official body, not us.

I recently purchased the application. I honestly did not see the video, but I saw the reviews and decided anyway to give a vote of confidence to the application.


I found it very full of addons not even worth watching. Anyway I found surprises in other addons not know existed.


So far very fast loading, and no I have to wait to see my films. I no saw the advance settings file, and although I can include it as a set and will not do it until you have a genuine problem of buffering.


I want to express my respects to the team that has taken the time to run something that makes us rookies forever.


Would support new skins that look elegant and functionality to KBMC.


I wish USA channels are seen in HD without problems.


No need to put the addons pornography. Pornography is personal and not to see in your family room. I respect anyone willing to see.


Go ahead, any initiative that is novel and can give me hours of enjoyment is welcome.

I would never dream of asking for money, if people want to give they will.
I am downloading to see what all the fuss is about, (2years in development).

So,as an already xbmc novice, does it mean if I download and try this Ultimate XBMC, that it will interfere with my already installed XBMC Gotham?

I am not technically savvy on changing file names etc, and worry that my skill levels will let me down in attempting same.

Can it not just be "side loaded" and uninstalled if not required, without causing problems?

As an end user, whom writes nothing, but uses any developers progs and apps, I say thanks to them all for providing us with all these things.

hello all , i for one tried this myself and it works and looks really good . have not tried any other xbmc for comparison ( no need to use it really ) but this does just what is suppose to ,no problems
