unfortunately I have had no luck at making a bootable kernel. there is just not enough information out there to make a bootable android image as I am unable to flash the kernel to the NAND to test it out first, due to the problems with the stick, so officially I give up, I am just not experienced enough to do it. booting from SD is still very new and as far as I know the only company that has done it is Radxa Rock however that is just speaking about android they can even flash the NAND from the SD card with a special image, but they have not released how they did it

good news for everyone that owns this android stick. I have found a way to re enable the USB port for flashing. People were right it had been purposely disabled. I am going to work on a tutorial to show people how to do it. I hope you guys have a steady hand and are good with the soldering iron LOL.

I just want to state before telling you how to do this that you are doing it at your own risk and if possible you should send your android stick back. If this is done wrong it will break your stick
What you will need
1: Soldering iron
2: Magnifying glass
3: A very steady hand
In the picture below you will see I have marked two solder pads, these must be joined together taking great care not to connect it to anything else, efectivly what we are doing is reconnecting the VBUS which allows us to flash the device.

I have a CX-919 with the same problems described in this thread. I was happy because there is a solution. But the PCB of my device is different. On the PCB is written 2013-06-17 CYXTECH_RK_3188_909 V1_1
See the photos bellow:
Can you help me to do this procedure in my case?
