Charging?

Does anyone know if you can use a usb charger while simultaneously charging with the discrete wall charger? I tried using my 2 amp usb charger and it was charging very slow.

Charging thru the micro-usb port won't help. It's a data port.
It's not a charging port. You must use the round 2.5 mm x 0.7 mm charging port.
You could buy from DX a 3A charger:

(has however EU pins)
Or buy from **** the adapter only:

and buy any 3A USB charger. You now can use that adapter in your car too with a usb-carcharger.

Charging with the screen on will take a long time. You nearly need all the power to light the big screen.
Charging is fast (2.5 hours max) in standby mode with supplied wallcharger.

After 4 months i decided to removed the factory preapplied screen protector on my P9 and i can see more clearly the quality of the screen! I don`t regret it and my finger slips better on the glass...sometimes the screen protector adds more grip especially just after wiping it.

The glass (gorilla glass 2?) is hard enough to be scratch proof for me. Even my m9pro looks better without the screen protector and not a single scratch on it`s glass too.

Pipo screens are all P+P: all plastic, the cheapest solution
No gorilla glass for them.

Now some competitors use:

G+G: glass internal and external
or G+F: glass and film that is thinner and cheaper to produce but with a little less quality wrt G+G screens

This is not nice to say about Anna, i bet se did here best, but under the rules that Pipo gave here, anyhown i love my Pipo P9 it works very well for me.

i need to replace the P9 lcd and according to anna it uses a (chunghwa) CPT CLAA101FP05, can someone confirm if the P9 uses this lcd?

i can order from aliexpress but i prefer to pay with paypal....sadly aliexpress does not support paypal

Then you can open your tablet and verify by yourself if the display CPT CLAA101FP05 is the one installed originally on your P9.

How much did you find the display on Aliexpress? Just because if the price is high, probably could be cheaper for you to buy another new device!

About Aliexpress, don't worry, if you pay with credit card Aliexpress will grant your money against frauds!
I usually buy from Aliexpress and I have had no problem so far.

Wow, seriously. Why are you even here and an forum admin of a brand you seem to hate if all you do is cry all the time how PIPO sucks and how a support person has "no brains". The best would be if you would just shut the **** up instead of talking shit about other people and stop trolling all the time in this forum. Reading your posts is infuriating and rarely helps anybody with your shit talk.

Anyway, I seem to have a problem with my Pipo P9. The wi-fi connection seems to be really unstable as being even near the access point, I can't seem to connect with it or it stays connected for a few minutes before losing connection again. It can't be software based as it was fine at the beginning and just started to do that lately. I even installed the newest RileyROM (thanks for your great ROM btw) and I also tried turning off the optimization mode for wi-fi. Nothing seems to help. Did anyone else have this problem and know how to fix it?

Kenneth...what happened to your display?

I have 3 very tiny stuck sub-pixels and a pressure mark (white spot) on the lcd, mostly visible on white screen

My M9pro lcd is still running perfectly fine and I find it better than the P9 lcd
