Thank you but its not needed anymore.
I was making the backups and prepare to restore the tablet to deliver it as was when I bought it and it just died completly.
Wotn't turn on by any means. THe battery was almost full but even then I try to charge it.
Tried the combinations of keys and nothing. Its completly dead!
I hit the jackpot with this piece of crap.

Guys, next time you think of buyin a Pipo, bang you head in the walll but bang hard.
After that ask my bak account and transfer the money to me and I promisse will be better spent

          another "happy" user of Pipo...

hope that this time Pipo will learn something from their errors... otherwise their life on the market will not last long

Apple got it right with the 9.7" size in a 4×3 fomat!

I see no reason anyone would want a 16×9 format, especially in a 10.1", unless it is for watching movies ...maybe some games.

Smaller tabs ...sure. Some are getting very slim, actually making them a phablet possibility.

Bigger than 10.1"? Why not, if one does not mind the size and weight.

These new 9.7" slim bezel examples we are seeing from Cube, Teclast, iFive ...& others are smaller, tight, efficient with more actual screen space than a 10.1".

            What's not to love?

Thank you for allowing me to blather an opinion!

I don't like 4:3. I like 16:9. The problem here is not the size or who likes what. It's that the brand is selling shit, simple as that. It's the second Pipo I buy and it the last. I rather die than buy another thing from this brand
Would have tried the Teclast, but couldn't find a shop selling it within the EU countries.

                Djuganight,
                what's the problem?
with teclast or cube it's difficult to have a defective device...
In my office we bought 5 cube talk 9x from aliexpress on June: all are still PERFECT, never seen a SINGLE problem, reboot or freeze!

The tablet was going to be returned and replaced under guarantee due to the wi-fi issue.
But now the shop is saying that if I bricked the tablet I lost the guarantee. So someting very convenient for them......

I have flashed literally thousands of firmware’s and roms in phones and tablet.
I made a mistake with Pipo M9 and he died completely. Not even shorten the pins worked.

Now, yesterday I was preparing the P9 to send it back, deleting all stuff and then when I was flashing the official firmware, using the official tool RKBatchTool 1.7 the tablet suddenly died.
All steps were going ok/100% and in the end of the process gave an IDB red error and the tablet turned off and now does not turn on by any means. None of the computers recognise it either.
The only thing I'm able to do is by pressing the Power button I'm able to turn on and off the red led.
I have tried the combination of keys (ESC + Reset + Power) while connected via USB and no signs of life in the PC.
                  What can I do?
I find this real odd to happen when simply flashing the official firmware.

if you send it to Pipo China they will repair it with warranty for SURE!
I sent one m6pro with custom ROM and they "repaired" it, you need to pay the round trip shipment...

                      Screen on/off

Does anybody know ho I can put my screen on and off without using the powerswitch button? Ive got a p9 with a cover that fits. Sometimes when I touch the side of the screen (the cover) the screen turns off and on agian. I tried some apps but they use a lot of my battery. Is there an other way? I got a screenprotector on my pipo, has that anything to do with it?

If I ever have to send a tablet back to China, I will surely need medication to keep my nerves in check.

i have did this three times ...one did well, and I got the tablet back. The other two ...one lost completely, the other I finally received an empty package back in the mail. Someone in the postal chain decided to remove the tablet, and send on the empty packaging.

And yet ...here I am with a new Cube T9 looking; hoping for Android Nirvana! So far, so good!

Thanks, Randy. Now we need to ply you away from Pipo for a while to get a cabable ROM for this bad boy!

I agree, in fact I used commas "" for the word "repair" for two reasons:

1 - the problem of sending (and shipping costs for the round trip!) to China
2 - lack of quality control after repair typical of Pipo
