Oh well.
I bought my first P9 from the **** seller smart-accessories-uk as they had 100% good feedback, and I've had problems buying through manufacturer dealerships and retailers before (Sony being quite bad on a couple of occasions). Here's what transpired:
1) First tablet, headphone and other sockets badly misaligned, so headphone jack had to be forced hard into socket. There's no way the socket was going to last like that without developing some kind of intermittent connection in the longer run, and I bought the tablet to listen to a lot of music, as well as for other stuff.
2) Returned the first tablet, and received a second. This had either a dead pixel or some dust stuck between the digitizer and screen. Returned it.
3) The third one had an intermittent connection in the headphone socket and also went back.
4) The fourth one has not only what is clearly a dead pixel, but a couple of other bits of dust between digitizer and screen for good measure.
Wow, Pipo's quality control is terrible. I mean, I'd read it wasn't great, but four in a row!? I've never had anything that bad before. The tablets all seemed genuine, and ran really nice and fast, so I have no reason to doubt their authenticity, but I for one won't be touching Pipo's products again unless I read a string of posts on how much their QC has improved. Shame, as they're otherwise really nice tablets.
Regards, Jon.
