..because I took out the worthless rkupdate apk; they never have implemented OTA updates and never will.

EDIT: the Bluetimes QPRO shares the same PCBa as the Rikomagic MK902ii (a big player), as well as the aforementioned Measy B4S, CS918ii, and Cloudnetgo CR12/13/16 - and they all hit the market at the same time, I ordered the QPRO 8/21/14. The actual clones are the ones that appear post launch, and there are many already.
I don't think the CS918ii use the same pcb because the case and the port places are different....

the others yes, but I don't think the CS918ii...

...already tested and confirmed, the cs918ii is fully compatible with Bluetimes QPRO ROMs.

(The original context of the post was ROM compatibility. Different PCBa in this case, but still retains compatibility.)

Use the same tool you use to flash the single img.

For RK3288 it's best to use RK Batch tool 2.3 - it's linked here in this thread a few posts back. Click on the Download Image tab and select the partitions you want to flash with the corresponding .img files.

If your system is already up and running, you only need to flash kernel, boot, and system to update without losing your files and data.

                          Great FW! Thank you.

I did flash this firmware in the B4S and it looks good.
                            finally HDMI audio!
But no google play store anymore.

I tried to install google play, but it gives the message that it has stopped.
Googled it and found this description: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2547054
Does someone have a better description for this RK3288?

                            Kind regards,

To fix it, simply go to application info, clear data and relaunch play store.
