The files from Brian's ROM worked fine. I just followed the instructions.
Your error message means wrong scatter file, afaik. Try to redownload or use files from another ROM, they're identical.

Hi all,

yesterday I actually broke the glass on my wife´s ASUS, so she is now the proud owner of my Pipo M6Pro ....
(It is working great by the way, thanks to -in random order- Maakie, RRiley and the other users at the Freaktab Pipo forum)

So, this was a great opportunity for me to order a Cube 9X
I hope to receive mine in a few weeks. (Sending from far-away-land to Spain may take some time)

I actually read ALL the forumpages, and my conclusion is:

- If my Cube comes with V2.0 just change the recovery, install root, and re-flash the EBR-files to increase the /data and nothing else.

- If it comes with an older version, re-flash everything using the 900SuperSport ROM from post 1?

I read in this forum it only allows .mp3 files?
Try to rename file to .mp3 before sending, and rename back on cube after reception.

I believe that Kitkat wont allow .exe, .apk and .xml files and it is on the receive side. I have an application that will send from kitkat but cant receive. I dont know if there is a config file that can be edited to fix this.

In case you're using Windows 8 you first have to disable driver validation in settings.
On Windows 7 there's no need for that, the drivers provided in ROM package here do work.

Hi all,

I need some help please.
My 9X does boot, but was in Chinese. I managed to get it in English through Settings, but it is not rooted.

My serial number is 1503xxxx, so I like to flash Lepi's 2.0.9 ROM.

But.......
I only have a Chinese recovery/diagnostic, which I can access with Power & Right-Vol.
I can get the small (English) menu halfway the screen, but when I choose Recovery, I get the "lying on his back Android-bot" with in Red an Exclamation mark.

I think I need a "proper" recovery first, either CWM or TWRP, but I don't know how to do this from the Chinese recovery.

My guess is I need to flash another recovery with Flashtools first, but I do not know if I can use any of the recovery versions from Brian ROM's? (since I have a higher version tablet 1503xxxx?)

My tab is "seen" by the Flashtool.

If so, is there a working ROM/scatter-file/recovery I can use with Flashtools for my 1503xxx Cube?
