    Recovery and update

    Hallo there,

i just got my cube about 2 weeks ago and flashed 900Supersport´s rom without any problems. It is running really smooth and I really appreciate the work! Can anyone tell me how to install a custom recovery like TWRP or CWM and where to get those? Thanx for your help.

How do I do any updates on the rom?

I get surprised when I hear people say this because mine has never done that for even once

Lucky you. Two of mine have this behaviour. But you can switch it on again afterwards.

You are lucky... You got a case with an appropriate magnet...

As you successfully flashed the ROM you might have seen the zip-attached instruction document. It says how to install another recovery, one is even attached, too.

If you have flashed the supersport ROM using the default files, then you should have CWM already as it is the default recovery used in the ROM.
I swapped CWM for TWRP which can be downloaded from the Lepi thread and installed using CWM.
Just place the downloaded file in the root of sdcard or internal root, and boot to recovery. Then install.

Thanx! I just managed to get into CWM. I wasn´t aware that it is automatically installed through the rom. I might try and switch to TWRP as you mentioned.

                          GPS not working

                          Hello,

I've got a problem with my Cube 9x. GPS of tablet is not working at all. I tried many fixes with custom Cube ROM, nothing helped. i even flashed freaktab ROM, if it helps to do something and still the same problem. I used GPS test, used MobileUncle Tools, none of thoose can find any satellites so i do have a zero signal and cant even lock the position.

Anyone has any idea, what could be wrong?

Yes, could be a badly soldered antenna.
My GPS works flawless even with stock ROM (13 in view 11 in use for most time)

so only solution would be sending the tablet back to China to repair/ replace it, am i right?
                              Nothing i can do.....

Before you do that boot to recovery and format cache and data. You will loose all your data doing this as its effectively doing a factory reset.
