Awesome...wish I had time to dedicate to learning how to create custom ROMS so I could help you!

      sorry

new compatibility zips will not be posted now until Wednesday evening at the earliest now, i'm really sorry, i forgot my thumb drive at work Friday, so i built them based on my notes and put them on my sdcard on my tablet, sadly i messed up and formatted my sdcard by mistake so i have to redo them again.

it seems that allwinner development has come to a end for now from the community so with this last set of zips i hope to add support for all the Allwinner: Cyanogen and AOKP based roms i know of. (hopefully some manufacture will release an official jellybean firmware so incomplete proprietary files can be charry picked and maybe interest dev to some more building.

so as of now it looks like on the list for support is.

      Christian Troys: CM9, AOKP, CM10
      Quarx2k CM9, CM10
      Cyanbook V0.4
      Kangbook
      Cyanbook_JB

if you know of any other CM or AOKP allwinner based roms to look at let me know, again sorry for the delay on these compatibility zips.

          Potential CM7 Rom: http://www.androidtablets.net/forum/...k-edition.html

The P76ti tablet seems to have some similar hardware. Backing up my data now and will see what works out of the box if anything with this rom.

sorry been gone for so long.....

sorry for the long delay every one, my crash of my sdcard left me with alot of work to fix. i hope through out the day to be able to post compatibility zips as well as my first build of the CM10 for Allwinner Devices, it seems adding volume control to the navigation bar is a must for most people so i'll add it in to my next release.

Which tablet did they post new ones for? 701C looks like the same one that's been there.

Lol no rush. I was asking which tablets did Southern Telecom post new firmware for? I went to their site and it looks like the same version to me but I have the 701C.

Not that it matters I still run Onda firmware anyway for the wifi hotspot feature.

follow this order for flashing ROM to device,

(1st wipe device so our install is clean)
                                select install zip from sdcard
select choose zip from external sdcard
                                select ROM_WIPER.zip
                                select Yes - Install ROM_WIPER.zip

                                (2nd install CM9 / AOKP / CM10 BASE)
select choose zip from external sdcard
select "highlight your downloaded CM9 / AOKP / CM10 ROM"
                                select Yes - Install

                                (3rd install Compatibility Zip)
select choose zip from external sdcardfor CM9 / AOKP select: PMID701series_CM9-AOKP_BOOT-trial-1.zip
for CM10 select: CM10_Polaroid-PMID701c-Trial-20120914-LITE.zip, try with this one first, i don't own this device i cant test. (skip to step 5)
                                select Yes - Install

(4th install su binary CM9 / AOKP only)
select choose zip from external sdcard
                                select su-bin-3.1.1-arm-signed.zip
                                select Yes - Install

                                (5h install gapps)
select choose zip from external sdcard
                                for CM9 / AOKP select: GAPPS-ICS-07092012.zip
                                for CM10 select: gapps-jb-20120829-signed.zip
                                select Yes - Install

                                (6th install FORMAT_INTERNAL_SDCARD.zip)
select choose zip from external sdcard
                                select FORMAT_INTERNAL_SDCARD.zip
                                select Yes - Install

                                (7th Factory Reset)
select Go Back until you get to 1st Recovery Screen
                                select wipe data/factory reset
select Yes - delete all user data

                                (8th Reboot)
                                select reboot system now

                                (9th Wait)
1st boot takes a minute be patient let it sit and do its thing i personally recommend at this point you take a 15 minute break grab a cold one and relax and let the device build its cache and settle down. you will need to change the background image as it doesn't draw correctly the first time.
My biggest question is how are you flashing these to the 701i? I can not find a lick of recovery anywhere for this tablet. I can access stock recovery but that does not allow me to do anything provided here other than install the "base" and "gapps"...please help me out here. I am no n00b to rooting/flashing but my goodness finding recovery is a pain...
