here's already another version;

this rom is more cleaner now .
i removed all the stock apps like

-browser
-google quick search
-music player
-gmail
-sound recorder
-voice search
-talk

you can install these apps with a special aroma installer zip for cwm recovery.
just place the zip on sd and take ''install zip''
tick the apps you want and click next.
after installing just reboot and the app or apps are installed.

i changed gallery with quickpic.
now proper videoplayback .

i added adaway too and speaker boost
but be carefull with speakerboost , don't blow your speaker ok .

now by default after flashing is

-wifi is on
-installing non market apps is on in settings.
-auto screen brightness is activated.

so people who flashed my previous rom.
it is worth to flash it again with this version.
the time has begon for a whole completely custom rom in the future.

ps .

some apps like archidroid etc. installing by default on sd and not on the tablet.
when you restart your tablet these apps are not installed anymore.
its a android 4.0.4 bug.
how fix it , after installing these apps just move it to the tablet before you reboot the tablet

don't forget after flashing , reboot the tablet after the startup wizard, for further use, because external sd isn't mounted after flashing.

This looks really nice - but what do you mean by 'whole completely custom rom'....? What have you got planned.....?

I've been running this rom since this morning and everything is running as smooth as the last ROM.

The main difference was that it took a lot less time to put everything back, because many defaults don't have to be set.

The new font package doesn't seem as sharp as the ICS font, but it's okay.

I like the CMW zip feature you added. You might consider adding more Google apps, like the ones that come with Pettrus's App Injector app that came with Bob's earlier G2 ROM's. Maps, Earth, etc...

i ask bob for the 8 gig parameters ok .
because thats the only difference wright?
so i think with rktools just change the parameter file.

no problem for making a zip like petrus app injector.
but google maps etc... are these apps installed as system apps or not
i just wanna know.

Yes, somehow the app Injector makes those system apps, and other stock apps that originally came with the stock ROM are not system apps. It was a way to debloat without excluding certain apps that some people wanted to keep.

As I recall, there were quite a number of apps included in the zip file. Try downloading the 10G2 ROM and take a look. I'm not sure, but I think it wasn't included in his later 2+ versions.

Try 1.5, it's in there.

Those apks will need updating.

I've been looking at CM9 and I don't see much offered that we don't already have. Aside from scoring a JB kernel, what's left to conquer on the G3?

On the App Injector issue I'm sure there's an option/flag in the zip file to force the application to install as a system or normal app. I'll have a search see if I can find the thread.
