if you have the apk somewhere on sd , just copy it too data/app
and its installed thats all

Obviously if I have the apk file I can do what I like but you may not have so won't be able to install the app, and TB lets me install apps to internal storage.

A related issue is that you can't move any apps to the SD card - not tried app2sd but certainly doesn't work from manage applications in settings.

Something must have changed in one of the system files to do this as was fine on the Beta rom. I'm sure i saw something about this when Googling a week or so back, I'll try to find it.

Uninstalled one of the apps with a problem then ran this app. Back to market and chose to re-install the app and installed with no problem. Still had to move it to the tablet from SD card but at least it installed...

ok totally agree with that but if i change it back and you move apps to sd , and you reboot than the apps are also disappeared,even with other apps. ill trying everything a whole week long.
a2sd won't work even. and a apk you can find everywhere just google it

Sorry - the apps missing when you reboot is a totally separate issue, I can manage that no problem.

This issue is that I can't install those apps in the first place AND you can't move apps from internal storage to the SD card.
I didn't have that on your last ROM (1.5 I think) but do on this one, it's the first one of either your's or Bob's that I have this issue with.

So far this is the only issue, the zip for the replacement font was cool and fixed the issue - it's really, really fast, very impressed. Look out Bob!!!

That is very interesting. With v2 I could download these suspect apps, say Mine craft Pocket Edition for example without any problem. After the install, before a reboot, I just had to move the app to internal storage. With v3 I get an error (same one Andy got). Unlike Andy, though, after I run the SDgalexy app, I continue to get the same error. If I try to restore Minecraft from Titanium, Titanium locks up. I have to FC Titanium to get out of it.

Something changed between versions here.

At least the way it was in v2 offered a manual workaround. This way I can't even install any of these apps on mine.

yes i changed the option to sd because it no works.
if you installed dolphin browser and take move to sd in settings you get an error now ok.
with v2 not but if you reboot is dolphin browser gone if you moved it to the sd.
sow i dont get it whats the problem guys maybe my poor understanding off English

Phew, glad you have the issue (but not glad at the same time!) - I thought it was just me!

Odd why the app doesn't resolve it for you tho'.

OK I see what you've done, you've stopped apps being installed to the SD card to get around the issue of them 'vanishing'.
This has meant though that any apps that default to SD card install won't...!

I'd prefer it back the old way so we can install these apps then move them manually to internal storage.

In v2, the app installs to internal sd. It runs fine there until a reboot, which wipes that saved location, thus causing the app to disappear. The fix was to move the app to the tablet from the sd before a reboot. The app stayed and worked fine. After an update, I had to repeat moving the app off the sd.

In v3, I can't even install the app without getting an error. Andy's fix doesn't work on mine.

I'm using Minecraft as my test app.

SK, it isn't a big emergency for a fix, because I rarely ever use any of those apps. In fact I didn't even think of trying this until Andy mentioned it. I'll just wait for a plausible solution.
