ok went over to my buddys downloaded the rom kit on his pc runnin windows 7 all the buttons show up just like its suppose to wonder what the issue is with xp?

I have been REALLY BUSY today so have not had much time to catch up on everything. I will look into XP and the flash tool. I made it in win7 so I must have missed something. I think maybe a font usage.

I really want to try this rom but I can't download it. All of the links on the Freaktab site take me to the page asking me to login again which just redirects me back home. Obviously I am logged in because I'm posting this.
I know this doesn't say much for my technical competance but I'm not usually this bad, honest. Any assistance would be great...thanks.

can you do a rom dump from the stock rom.
its needed for looking the parameter file

I have been debugging Netflix for 2 days now. Bottom line, I think all the issues come down to the OpenGLES library files/driver when it comes to sync and play issues. There are also some other checks that cause Force Close, etc. It is clear netflix is looking for phone data to determine if your US based or otherwise and crashes rather than gives data as to why. I am sure this is all about security and DRM. I AM NOT trying to crack DRM or anything like that. But the Arnova G3 should in fact be able to use netflix. It is in the ROM. Just need to find out why.
I think I am getting to the root (pun intended) of this issue MAYBE.

All I can say is one thing. If your into older movies on demand I can see why so many people want netflix to work. APP makers cannot seem to handle all the OS versions, derivatives of how they are compiled, hardware, etc. We cant blame netflix for neutered shitty ROMS! But I do think it might be possible to tweak a Tab to at least work as best is can given the hardware!


Honestly, du to all the talk on the web, I want to focus on fixing the issues. Not saying it will be a ONE FOR ALL fix, but maybe the root cause so others can implement.

i don't add such apk in the rom.
look in the thread for version 4
then you see what the difference are with this version here.
for version 4 i made a aroma installer for cwm for installing difference google apk's.
you can choose what you want too install ok

I guess we really never had anyone with a 3G modem to test, therefore no support. Maybe Bob has some drivers.

I have the Arnova 3G stick and that doesn't work...never did get it working even on the 10G2!
