Holy cow, the CPU goes all the way down to .126 Ghz, that should help with overheating. And I figured out that if you turn it off and power off the tv, it will turn back on when you power up the tv again. I'll test with Mele remote and soundabout to see if this is a good idea.
SPMC Helix didn't work for my mk809iii, so I use 13.4. I'm new at this app, so I'm not a good tester, I just installed it, add the tvaddons fusion installer and use their auto configuration tool, and zero cache xml with some other add ons I like, but I revert the background and splash screen to the original...Last edited by budgetgeek; 23 February 2015, 14:11.Currently Inactive on Freaktab.com

Any how, the firmware works, if you would like to try it out, it's your call, I just got tired of mine rebooting randomly so I took a chance.

I'll try to do the RAM option if zero cache is bad news for my eMMC.

I think it was because of SPMC, but I don't know. It seems to happen when I use that app. So whatever updates they have, I have the latest. It's nothing special except that the CPU will run at near dead 126 mhz so that may have a minimal impact on heat if you run at conservative governor.Currently Inactive on Freaktab.com
