What Finless ROM and device? I am using Beelink R89 finless Rom 1.2
Are you using the correct libmedia.so for your device? Using Libmedia.so from #66
and XMBC from post 1 and latest SPMC 13.3.3

Since it is rebooting I figured this is a ROM/Patch issue thats why I posted it here.

Maybe someone can upload Beelink Finless ROM 1.2 libmedia.so file so it can also be patched and see if it also crashes like the libmedia file in post #66 ?

Anyone else experiance a complete rom reboot (Finless) when trying to play an Youtube SD video in XBMC/SPMC. Everytime I select an stream with youtube SD as the source it re-boots the Rom as soon as it tries to open the stream. I experience it in the Youtube plug-in and Genisis. The Youtube app runs fine. Running patched libmedia.so

I just tested the YouTube addon using the current version of SPMC with Stafstrom's libmedia.so on my R89 with Finless 1.2 ROM and it did not crash for me.

Because of this echo effect, I use the modded Kodi instead of SPMC 13.3.3.

In my case SPMC 13.3.3 has very stuttered audio(passthrough enabled), even the surround sound indicators on the receiver are flashing. Modded Kodi is pretty much what it was before, still crashes when I try to advance the movie.

That is strange, I just tested the modded Kodi again and it does not crash when I advance the movie, it is rock solid.

What do you use to advance? I am using either the slider or the left arrow on the IR remote - both cause it to crash.

I just use the right arrow on my remote to advance forward in the video.

Just got an update from the play store for SPMC. I know Koying was working on our echo problem, but this update crashes, and the echo problem is still there. I tried disabling the hardware codecs in the settings, but that did not help.

HDMI passthrough not working on R28 running stock 110k4 with stafstrom libmedia.so. Tried Latest SPMC and modded XBMC. SPDIF passthrough working on both SPMC and modded XBMC but echo sound on SPMC. HDMI bitstream does not emit any sound.

First, I want to thank Stafstrom, Koying and Jakemate for getting Dolby passthrough from XBMC and SPMC. I just installed Stafstrom's libmedia file on my R89 and rebooted. Same thing happened, audio echo and crashing. I cleared the data then uninstalled SPMC and rebooted. Downloaded SPMC from play store, added videos from my Synology NAS. Everything is working perfectly now. I can change to DTS, no crash. I can can use the on screen fast forward arrow, even with 3 clicks, for faster forwarding, still did not crash. I can say that on my end, SPMC is perfect.

Edit: after stopping and restarting SPMC the echo is back. I start with Dolby which has an echo then switch to DTS that does not have the echo, then back to Dolby and no echo. Strange.

On My End it appears to work..I am able to skip forward now. Can use pass through only had one file (AC3) that was garbled sound but as much as I have been goofing around with SPMC settings could have been me. You tube does not crash SPMC. I will test on the patched XBMC tommorow.

Modded XBMC is fine but SPMC would stutter the audio with the surround sound indicators flashing regardless of the type of surround sound encoding, whether it is passed through or transcoded. Even tried a re-installation of SPMC - same results.
