    - Fixed problem with certain cable apps not working, yesGO, Comcast & Xfinity, drm satellite cable apps that have issues with DRM

    How did you fix this? I have been scratching my head about this issue and cannot figure it out.

      Just installed this ROM on my R28.

      Just finished testing everything and all works very well indeed.

      The Eutelsat[/URL] 4k file is the only file that won't play with just mediacodec enabled in SPMC but that was the same before anyway.

      All other videos play well.

        In the build.prop file, I replaced all the 'test'-keys entries with 'release'-keys

        Didn't test it myself, since I don't use that apps.

          Think that video uses webm or vp9 codec, that isn't used by Mediacodec or something.
          Most videos are mkv/avc or hevc, so it won't be a big problem.

            unfortunately, simply editing the build prop test-keys did NOT fix the XFINITY Go app crash issue. Still getting "3001:: Error account credentials have expired. Please sign out."
            Tronsmart Orion R28 Meta. Wasser Lollipop Beta 5 (very stable). Video Out: 60" 1080p LG Plasma TV-HDMI 1.3. Audio Out: Default (stable). Remote In: TaoTronics TT-MK005 Air keyboard/mouse (keys repeating). Apps: Kodi (stable), Plex (stable), WatchESPN (Stable), Amazon (Stable).

              As an additional step, have you tried fully unrooting as well to see what happens then?

                No, I haven't had the time; however, the M8 (tomato) is rooted and these apps work flawlessly.

                  At least that eliminates one possible reason for it and a pointer to where there is a potential solution.

                    Maybe someone can compare the HPH and M8 build.prop files to see if there is an extra setting in M8 maybe. Don't know a lot about making apps compatible.

                      so far..... spmc working fine so far (been a pain getting a xbmc version to play without crashing over the last few weeks)... wifi is kickass.... getting about 76mb down from a 152mb package using n router.... bbcplayer crashed a couple of times on launch of it.... after a couple of restarts it seems to have settled down ?.... but did have a "not again" feeling for a while..... great work mo.... thank you

                        as we are talking im installing a couple of addons.... getting constant crashing now..... live tv running but get into addons then before i can add... crash.... constant

                            Maybe your camera issue will be solved, since there will be new firmware next week to fix USB camera issue.

                                mey mo.... i have installed on my 4/32 and keep getting a constant crash after about 3 mins.... im on wifi and installing backup on spmc and cant finish without crashing.... i had it on a 2/16 and it settled down and seemed to be ok.... but the 4/32 wont settle down....crash crash crash.

                                update... now its got to the point of where i only have to click on spmc shortcut and crash....second time on rom....i have reloaded it and all went ok ?

                                update ... im backing up and restarting because using xml zero so have to restart..... not crash change ?
