Does your sd card work? I thought I had everything fixed. Gave it to my son for xmas. Was a big hit but now my sd card is not working. When I look in the settings, under storage, there is the following:
      Internal Storage
      Total space - 678MB
      Apps - 502MB
      Available - 227MB
      Internal SD Card
      Mount SD Card
      External SD Card
      (nothing on this line)
      Total space - 0.0b
Unmount SD card - unmount the SD card so you can safely remove it
Erase SD Card - Erases all data on the SD card, such as music and photos

Any Ideas? something seems to be messed up or is it the sd card? really do not have another to try. It is a 16gb microSD HC. I took this one out of my old cell phone. Formated it.... I do not know if it was working before. When he goes to take a picture or move an app to the card, it can not do it. It says that the sd card is not mounted...
Any of the files from the above zip file have anything to do with reading the sd card?

Something seems very messed up. You should definitely have a 2gb "internal" SD card. Does it show up if you pull the 16gb external card?

It might be worth flashing the stock ROM back to see if the SD card problem resolves itself then try re-rooting and installing the Google apps.

Unless Southern Telecom has updated their website (doubtful) you'll need to poke around the forum to find a dropbox link to the v92 ROM (which is probably what you are running).

I messaged you a few days ago regarding an error with the market fix, you said you didn't know how to help me,
but do you know of any other methods that could get the full play store?

hey ap. i'm sorry, i've responded to so many messages i forgot the exact problem u were having and trying to solve. if you're having problems with the market you could manually copy the apk files to sd card and the put them directly in the /system/app folder (assuming you had root, but I don't think you do.) if you need root, there's an app a fellow on xda made for rooting, etc.-you could try that. I'll see if I can find the link.

              Hey, here's a little refresher,
I messaged you about LL's market fix giving me a bunch of errors and bricking my tablet. I'm already rooted (Polaroid aio) and I have Google Play, but it's very very limited. I want to know how to get the full store, because as of now all major apps (Angry Birds, Netflix Etc.) don't show. The guy who made Polaroid aio tried a bunch of build.prop mods, but none worked, apparently the PTAB doesn't use the build.prop for Google Play or something like that.

Gotcha! so then the only way I knew to get all the apps was either the LL fix with the /permissions folder or modifying the build.prop. I'm not aware of any other ways to 'spoof' the market into accepting your device as something different.

I think elektrik's mention of the permissions folder is the key here. From what I've read, if you don't have a file in /system/etc/permissions that authorizes a particular action (e.g. network access), PlayStore won't show you any apps that require that permission. See if your system has all of the permissions files that LiquidLimez included in his zip. If not, copy them over (don't forget to set their file permissions to match other files in that directory). If that still doesn't work, I can zip up mine and make them available to you.

And to add to what Dolorespark said, be careful to backup any files in that folder ahead of time-I've noticed that some files can get replaced in some of these tablets (unless you already have a backup or means to restore the tablet to it's previous state).

How do I set their file permissions?
Edit: Never mind, I just had a brainfart. Although LL's permission files didn't fix the problem. It would be nice if you could provide your files.

Thank you so much for your help dolorespark and elektrik, the permissions files fixed the problem!
dolorespark, do you mind if I share your files with the guy who made Polaroid AIO on XDA Developers? I'll give you credit.

Which package fixed it? The software permissions files or the hardware permissions?

As to the files themselves, they're pretty generic and should be on any working system - I didn't do anything. Of more value to the AIO developer than the files is the knowledge that they're needed both to run apps and to acquire them. After all, if an app needs permission XYZ and it can't be granted on your system, there's no reason to even show it to you because it just won't work on your device.

                                The software package.
I was just asking because I wasn't sure of the integrity of the files and didn't want to share "your" files without permission. As for giving him the info, I've already done that. But anyway, thanks a million!
