The .zip version of my ROM can be installed with TWRP. It contains the /system partition (where the Android OS is).

The two versions (.img for stock recovery and .zip for TWRP) are both linked in the ROM thread, along with instructions, and answers to frequently asked questions.

i put the file in on my sd card and it just fails got curious and used the back to stock rcovery and it took that but didnt change anything is there something im doing wrong?

Maybe... but I can't think what it might be...

Can you provide any additional details concerning the error message(s)?

Have you looked at the recovery log? It's in the cache partition. You can copy the current one to the sd card from the advanced menu in TWRP. Sometimes it contains error messages that aren't written on the screen.

I don't recognize that zip file name... I'm thinking that might not be a ROM... where did you download it from? Are you currently trying to install it with TWRP or stock recovery?

The rkimage format only works with the stock recovery.

Dude hank you so much with a little trial and error i was able to fix it somehow it changed twrp to another way and i downloaded the rkimage and installed it and it worked dude you are my hero.
