    I have a problem with mt draco it doesnt have a powerlight anymore looks like what most experience with this box. I cant flash using a pc because it just says burn failed. I also tried the card method and I was able to burn the image to the sd card but when I insert the card and turn it on it doesnt do anything no power light no activity.

    how do i get the finless rom on my new virgin draco telos WITHOUT Windows PC? Can i just use a Linux PC to copy the rom to a usb stick, or sd card, put it in the draco, and power up w/ Fn pressed? or does one HAVE TO use a windows pc?

    flash method

    Iv just flashed finless bobs 1.1 for the Draco to sd card using PhoenixCard v309. The PhoenixCard should be set to product when burning to sd card. so if any thing should happen to the Rom i have on already i just restart my box with the sd card in & boots up with finless 1.1 on my box. It saves have to connect it to a PC when some think goes wrong.

    I have used terminal but after burning the image successfully the draco does not react to the SD card and boots normally.

    I use a Sandisk Extreme class 6 4G, formatted to EXTFAT and I get this message after bruning the image

    1201614+0 records in
    1201614+0 records out
    615226368 bytes transferred in 352.150322 secs (1747056 bytes/sec)

    Thanks!
    Your way is not good. Find yourself a Windows PC and follow the instructions on the first page. It's a special way to burn that IMG file on SD card.

    I thought that the MINIX X8 H was meant to be super reliable, at least that's what all the reviews I have seen on YouTube have said. This is not the case?

    no...
    But I think it isn't a problem to read and write sd > 32GB with FAT32...
    extFAT is 'only' defined by SD Association (SDA) at sd > 32GB as mandatory feature...
    => http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secure_Digital#SDXC
    (somewhere at a German page I read something about that the argument by SDA for extFAT at SDXC was that FAT32 wouldn't be safe/good/stable enough at > 32GB...but come on, who knows, why they really defined it as a mandatory feature???)
