I did the test with the cursor in developper mode. It works fine for me.

The multitouch test in Phone tester gave me a 7 fingers score.

Hi guys, I can't belive what is happening!!
This morning I've turned on the T9 and updated it to 1.06 because last night i read that there was a new firmware (1.06).
I updated, and tried the sensitivity of the screen... BAD.
Then I've made a hard reset and tried again... The same results... Bad touchscreen sensitivity. Same problem as the first day of use of the T9.
But this morning I DON'T shut off the tablet. I leave the tablet ON (I always shut off the tablet when not using it).
After the day of working, I arrived at home and take the tablet again... I can't believe it!! It seems that the sensitivity problem disapeared! Like magic! I' m writing this with swiftkey keyboard without any problem!! I'm very excited and confused at same time.
I don't understand whats happening, but it's GOOD!
But I really have not done anything. Only left the tablet ON for a day and nothing more.
I'm surfing the intenet without any problem, installed some apps, writting on other forums, played Fruit Ninja, etc... and all is ok.

That is good to hear. Keep updating us Heka.

Anyone what are the steps to clear the cache and Dalvik with this tablet?

It's late night in Spain and I go to sleep. I'll shut off the tablet and charge it all night. Now the battery is very low.
I hope tomorrow all goes well like now.
          I'll keep you informed.

When you say "on", do you mean "standby"?
Let's hope your own problem is solved....
You could see on my "kids paint" pictures,
that sometimes it works for me, ans sometimes not at all...
Let's hope for a "magical healing" or maybe 1.07 which works...

                No man...that's one nice picture.
                Nice lines.
Peel that shitty screen protector and enjoy your T9.
Really..if you want to save screen from kids scratches take one with some quality..like Vikuitti (made in Germany) or something with some references.

Guys, it's 2:30 am in France and I'm a bit tired...
With @Edius, I am realizing that it is maybe that 1.20 USD screen protector which upsets...
I don't want to have a "naked" screen so I quickly order a Vikuiti Talk 9x screen protector on Amazon.
It seems to work better with naked screen and screen heat is maybe a parameter, too but it is so randomly...

So how 'better' is better without the screen protector?

For now mine is exactly like it was from the box ...the plastic on the back, and the two (2) layers of plastic on top of the screen ...one an outer layer to peel, and then under that an actual screen protector on the GLASS screen.

Note I said two (2) layers on the screen ...one throwaway, and one that is supposed to stay, as it is an actual screen protector SMOOTHLY, efficiently applied!

I will peel all these layers back one day, and use nothing but the glass screen. I will not worry, for the touchscreen is GLASS, not plastic like many of these cheaper tabs use. It will hold up well, and well NOT get the etchings and lines that plastic always will.

So don't worry! We have a glass screen, not plastic ...and that is GOOD!

Look closely at the eye of the camera. You probably still have the protector, which is good. What you peeled off with the little corner tab was not the protector.

Here's a test ROM for this tablet.

                          It should work, OK...but I don't have a T9 to test.

Randy thanks for the rom. Very nice.

I dont know if you have followed on the touchscreen issues of this tablet or not but if you have in your opinion do you think it can be fixed via software?

This ROM is based on v1.04 which the site said was a fix to the touch panel. Hopefully this will make a difference for all of you having those touch problems.

Just be careful...I would like to have an experienced flasher attempt this the first time. That way I won't have to talk a hundred people through fixing a problem if flashing goes wrong. As we get reports of good results, we can open the gates....and I'll start a new thread for this ROM.

                                Glad you said that.

I was getting nervous and I didn't even raise my hand!
