In not sure if my tablet touchscreen issues are some or not need more time but for the last hour is been working perfect.

What I did different is that I booted the tablet into recovery and used the root verification tool and then wrote
    Wiped the cache and rebooted.

The touchscreen has been perfect since but I need more time to say confidently that it's solved.

I did the same thing on mine with a big sweat... it didn't change anything; sometimes it works, sometimes not... I still have ONE outer screen protection on it; I will remove it... one day...

Just be careful...I would like to have an experienced flasher attempt this the first time. That way I won't have to talk a hundred people through fixing a problem if flashing goes wrong. As we get reports of good results, we can open the gates....and I'll start a new thread for this ROM.
Noice work, although I was hoping to flash a rom based on the 1.06 firmware.

I am waiting on someone who has installed clockworkmod as I have read the tablet is not supported before I am willing to flash, I haven't heard anyone install it yet.

What recovery you used? Stock or CWM? Could you install cwm?
In stock recovery I can't see any wipe option

1.04 is the latest available there (the others comes only as OTA updates).
I noticed that, the wireless updater doesn't work for me any more since I have rooted my device. Not sure if that is a coincidence. I am stuck now on 1.05

I'm having trouble with the storage.

In the storage settings menu there are 3 storage options:
              1. Internal Storage.
              2. USB Storage
              3. External\SD card.

Internal storage has about 2GB, and the USB storage is actually the other 30GB of the space.
In the top of the settings menu you can choose between 2 options for defualt write disk, either the USB storage or External.

When you download apps from google play, it installs them on the Internal storage by defualt, and there apears to be no way of changing thatr. What happens is that you run out of space pretty fast (Only 2 GB).

In the apps menu you can use the optio to "Move to USB Storage", but that doesn't work for all apps, and that doesn't move the entire app there, just the data. and After using the app again, it might save new data to the internal storage, and you'll have to move it manually again.

I have an android phone - HTC M7 - and it has only one storage option - Phone Storage - which represents all of its 32GB.

What am I suppose to do about this?
              Anyone encountered this issue?
Am I the only one who have his 32GB divided like that?

I'll appreciate help. This issue turn this device into a 2GB device, which is useless.

              Thanks
How I got around this, is i used an app called 'link2sd' which can move apps between storage and even create symbolic linking if needed.

It's a gem of an app.

If you are using Vroot, as I am ...I had thought I saw a way to un-root using the PC program.

                Would that solve your problem?

I've rooted my T9 with Vroot (iRoot). But it installed a program to control root that is not SuperSu. How can I change to SuperSu? I don't know exactly what root control app I have installed now because it's in chinesse.

Well the thing is I am not sure if it is because it's rooted, I was hoping someone could confirm what the error message I am getting is related to it being rooted. Technically the modification for root isn't a big deal, so I really not sure. Right now my T9 works great, and without a decent recovery tool like clockworkmod installed I am reluctant to make to many system changes.

Any root application is installed so u can manage what app or process gets access to root, that's it. So another words the only thing you will lose if you change root app is the permissions you have already given out. New root app= new permissions in most cases.

                        Hi, guys !
2 days after the "global warning" about the touchscreen problem...
I've just switched on mine (11am in France); fully charged and standby the whole night. Still issues on the first test on "Kids Paint Free". It looks like I'm the last one to have that problem, there... Happy for you, but not so much for me... I kept one outer screen protector; maybe the "real" reason of that problem ; I wait for few days before removing it. Before removing everything, I will try with a Vikuiti protector I ordered. It looks like the "problem" decreases after a "certain time" of use during the day... Without any screen protector, don't you afraid of a "DULL" glass in a while...?
You are now in "expert explorations" I won't go to, now (root...).
For newbies as me who can be interested, I post 3 pictures: Antutu v5.6 (40221), Antutu X v5.1 (38291; it works, now, and it's "coherent"...) and another screenshot of the peak result on Droidfish (a chess app) which is 1768 knps (just behind iPad 2, with 1970 knps and far ahead Nexus 9, 1093 knps); that evaluation, the main reason why I bought that tablet...

Well after just saying I am too worried about stuffing up my tablet. I thought bugger it, its a cheap tablet, so I did do the vroot thing. The unroot failed. I did a factory reset. Which brought me back to 1.04. I did the update via wireless again to 1.05. After that I went to do the 1.06 update then BOOM, same error.

Can anyone confirm if they were able to do the 1.06 update?

That is the default use of this tablet.
You would need to use a custom ROM or hope that Cube changes that with a future firmware version. Lollipop maybe?
                            Are you sure?
So how do all of you guys use it?

Install Supersu and Titanium Backup, then remove the chinese app with Titanium. It is what i did.
