This is a great rom and thank you for the hard work.
I am heaving some issues with it. It seems that in timely manor I get my wifi to act up (every 20-25 min). The wifi is still connected and a full strength.

do u know what could be the issue?

Second queston, in case I move to a stock rom, how do I make neflix to go full screen?

Just wanted to say thank you for this. Rom works well, flashing was painless.

Does this rom support usb audio devices like the latest from the factory? I have a usb audio device on order and haven't tested it yet...

Edit: Nevermind, I just tested it with my webcam (which has a mic built in and worked on the factory ROM) - works great

Has anyone been able to use this ROM on a Sharp Aquos? ( http://goo.gl/GGVQ3 ) My MK808 is currently stock and when I plug it into this TV I get a blank screen a few seconds after the boot process finishes. Wondering if this ROM would address that issue and I am currently not at home to try it out.

Mk808 wifi mod

When you use the supplied reboot app the first time you will get prompted by SuperUser to allow root access. If you say no, then it wont work! This is just like any APP that requires root access.

The reboot APP works fine as long as you allow root. If you said NO once, you need to open the superuser APP and go in a remove reboot from the list. When you run reboot again it will ask again and now you can say yes.

Have you done a tutorial video as you made for the ug802 to extract the wifi antenna out of the box ?
I would like to increase my wifi signal which are very bad/poor ( about 5 to 18 max) ..

No I have not but it's about the same if you have the standard original one. The oinly difference from the ug802 is the MK808 has 2 antennas and they are on shorter wires.

Nopw if you have a later odel or "clone" one of the antennas connect when the cover is on. It has a odd set of connector pins for the one antenna. See this post for pictures:

This ROM is really really good!
Not one single issue so far.
I managed to install and run Ubuntu (various distros) with more than acceptable speed. It is actually becoming quite usable!
What I suggest as future directions are:
- adding ext4/ntfs file support on sdcard, and,
- by all means CWM

I have not had time to try and install ubuntu myself but would like to. Can you tell me what you found the best and what you used to do it please. Saves me a little leg work thanks!

As for NTFS on SDcard. The kernel supports this now in Android OS e.g. you should be able to format the card NTFS and Android will see it. Most ICS and JB kernels for RK30 have supported NTFS since day one. Android OS wont support ext3/4 on Sdcard. I have tried modding vold.fstab but no luck!. And I have tried a BUNCH to see if I could get NTFS to work with CWM and for some odd reason I havent figured out the magic on how to yet.

Yes my WiFi is realy stable. My setings:
The WiFi router is setup 3 meters from the device. I have opend the android device. And have looked at the antenna cables. I fixt one . (Bad connection). And juse this Rom . 1.5a I have no problems anymore. I look live streams 2 owers a day. Without any buffering. Ore bad conection.

4 out of 10 of those devices had a bad solderd WiFi attena. Try to open it and fix it . 15 min work.

Maby I have it wrong. But I think you have a ip drop at your WiFi router. Ore to Manny WiFi devices. Like mobile fones.

I found maverick is optimal for this cpu/ram configuration. It could run newer distros, though no problem!
I make my own ubuntu images, just google "building arm packages with qemu" ubuntu wiki (i don't think I can paste link here). There is a lot of garbage on the net, this way you are safe that you know what you're doing. I use "chdistro" script, it does the right job! So far I tried almost everything from jaunty onward, mind you, on a cheap class 4 sd cards, and it is already flying.
Thanks for letting me know about NTFS support, never tried that It would solve my problem, files larger than 4GB! Now I can make some serious ubuntu configuration on class 10 card which i tried to spare until I figure out optimal configuration.
I found some stuff re ext support on omegamoon: rockchip-rk30xx-mk808, but frankly, it is way beyond my knowledge and capacity, it may be of help to you.

Yep the same. Checked reviews on Amazon - not promising.

So problem fixed. I stepped up from my chair. Stept in to my car and have buy a better one . 8 Euro and no connection drops on the Ethernet connetions anymore.
