I say new release, but with support for RK Remote Control !!! It's a "must have" , for me at least !
And dont "push" the frequency too high ... 720p/1080p and -to say- 1,2 Ghz it's enough for "common users" ... Thanks for great job and hard work ! Kind regards from Romania !

bt downloads to usb?

Some one try to download with a bittorrent downloader to a USB stick ? When I whant to download it sasy file to big fore USB ? Why the stick has. 16gig. And the movie 4 gig. Someone who has a solution?

An other question. My rc11 air mouse disconnect all the time. I must restart the android device to make it work again. Than when I,m I a app its disconnect again.

File Explorer shows drive, but ROM Tool shows 'No Drive', USB not in debug, Mass Storage set. Any ideas? Tried RESET too

Truly Amazed!

Bob Finless 1.5a is truly amazing if you can stay close enough to the router or I figure out what's wrong with the top antenna, which could enable me to actually use it in the room I intended to use it in.

All the talk about Netflix being horrible I found incorrect. Mine is running fine close to the router where I'm getting about 7mb download speed. That should be closer to 15-20 but I really think the problem is with that front antenna (the wired one) on Mk808b.

All the hard work is becoming worth it. I even got my Bionic running Netflix and Showtime via HDMI as well as all my phone apps. I love connectivity!

Read carefully : "6) If you are shorting the pins, the PC should bong and the flash tool should say at the bottom "Found RKAndroid MaskRom Rock USB". If not, then your not shorting the pins properly OR you never had the drivers loaded to begin with. "

Google Earth

Sorry if I've posted this in the wrong Thread, my question is about Google Earth running on the MK808 with Finless 1.5a.
Is there a trick to zooming out, zooming in is no problem. Can't locate a +/- feature or find a key sequence. No issue with Google Maps though.

Almost there....

I finally got 1.5 to flash, worked well, I watched a few youtubes,,, but when I rebooted, got no blue light.

And the RESETing no longer causes MK808 to be recognised, (it did for a while, but got errors in MIDDLE of doing NAND Erase , and errors in MIDDLE again on reload, but now seems dead), tried different USB cables...

If this is dead, wondering if pin 8/9 reset it the only option?, did I already void warranty?

Unplug the USB cord from OTG.
Hold down the reset button
while holding down the reset plug in the cable to the OTG port.
It should boot into flash mode and windows should BONG.

I have ONLY ONCE needed to do the shorting of the pins and that was due to flashing a bad loader from a tablet ROM.

Also make sure you are on the reset button inside! You should be able to feel it click when you stick a paper clip in the hole. It is actually hard to get on the button sometimes.

I'm sure I'm hitting the reset button (feel click, did it successfully earlier...)

Tried multiple USB cables, multiple USB ports (on windows pc),,, seems dead.

The MK808 is like a tank! It is hard to kill it.

I guess try the pin short but I am suprised it would die from hardware failure and for sure a non-overclocked ROM cannot kill it.

Three friends were waitign for me to give them a success report, looks like it's not in the cards!

To me that sounds like USB issues. Something is not going correct with USB communications. It is super important that USB in flash mode is 100%.

Make sure your not going through a HUB and in BIOS make sure legacy USB is on and USB high speed mode is off.

Best I can say. Again these are HARD to brick permanently! Imagine what I do every day? I flash at least 30 times a day and like I said, MK808 is like a tank! PC has to be clean without a bunch of USB related installs.

Again last resort. Have you tried update.img and RKbatchtool 1.5? YOU MUST try this if you have not already.

I can't get it to open up. I tried to install a version that works with jelly bean and it would not allow me to install it. Anyone?
