Need Help with WIFI....Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee

Guys.. I am new to this..so please excuse me if I missed something.. I just got my MK808B.. it was giving me issues with running videos..(It would restart every few mins).. So I installed Custom rom 1.5a (Thanks Bob!).. Since I installed it.. it is not allowing to enable wifi on my device..It tries to enable.. waits for few seconds and gets disabled automatically.. I do not think there is hardware issue because it was able to connect before installing new rom.....need help.. can someone please help.. I will not be able to use this without wifi

I,m glad to say that my webcam the Logitech c210 also works with Skype.

Maby its better that we make a new thread fore the working cams fore this device.

No idea why it's not working for you...work great on my side, tested on finless 1.5a about month ago..... (I'm using WiFi now, will try it again tomorrow and c any steps that you might missed) let you know if any.

Why System Info Apps Shows Up as ARMv7 Processor

I have seen and learnt about this device, it's great and a powerful one running with RK3066 Cortex ARM-V9 Duo Core Processor. But I seen pics of Antutu Benchmark or some System Info app showing it as a Cortex ARM-V7 processor. So tht's my qn, why these apps are showing the V9 to be V7 Processor... Thanks!

Youtube app is lagging or at least the sound is stooping at every 10-15 seconds, even if you-tube is buffered !, I have to mention that I upgraded to Finless 1.5 and also to 1.5A ....

I noticed the same thing today whilst watching YouTube and iPlayer. Seemed to get worse as I watched more. Noted that the YouTube videos were over 1 hr long though.

The sound also started to go "fuzzy" after a while and needed to reboot.

The sound synch issue occurred quite quickly, but the "fuzzing" only started after around 50 mins or so. Will get a vid of this when i get a chance.

Great ROM despite this issue!

EDIT: Ignore "fuzzy" comment. I just played more iPlayer from my PS3, started to get the "fuzzing" again, switched TV off and on again and "fuzzing" stopped! So... Could be my TV - oh no!

I managed to fix RK Remote Control for the MK808. I am not talking droidmote but the one developed by Rockchip and is now in some other ROMs. It did not work on MK808 and MK808-B.

I also have added hide status bar with easy pull up recovery and a few more goodies to update this ROM.

I was going to wait for 1.7 and 2darks kernel but this 1.5a is getting a little old now and felt maybe you guys would like a updated ROM now?

Wait or release a 1.6 version?

I managed to fix RK Remote Control for the MK808. I am not talking droidmote but the one developed by Rockchip and is now in some other ROMs. It did not work on MK808 and MK808-B.

I also have added hide status bar with easy pull up recovery and a few more goodies to update this ROM.

I was going to wait for 1.7 and 2darks kernel but this 1.5a is getting a little old now and felt maybe you guys would like a updated ROM now?

Release please... We can always update afterwards :-) I recommend using Titanium back up... Gets all your data back after an update within a couple of minutes... Just make sure you back up to an external source, so you don't lose it in the update process...

I'm really hope cwm will be included so we can do flashing with ease...and can restore easily if problem do occur...

So far 1.5a work so great still, really appreciate your work!

Usb to Ethernet adapter work great...no issue at all...
Try to turn it off and on again...
If still cannot, I believe it is something to do with your router setting.

We are waiting for long time for this release. Please give us a release with latest 2darks kernel for 720p and 1080p with all external usb device support. Thanks for your great work!
