If u have multimeter around, try to check is there any connectivity between that 2.
For my unit, gnd & ant are short-circuited.

I don't think that is the problem, mine working great after I resolder it with external antenna...

What u can do now is try to disconnect the gnd cable, no need to connect the gnd. Just leave the ANT connected. some had reported this will solve the WiFi problem

What ever I do I cannot get the Flashtool to see my MK808 in normal mode. I have the drivers installed using the driver install procedure and then the flashtool sees the mk808. But after a reboot it again does not see the mk808 (Ipegtop) however my PC does see it as a flashdrive.
            Any ideas?

            Regards,
            Ed.

I had to use the paperclip for the 2nd time after I rebooted the computer. After that it found the driver no problem.

Well, thanks for your response but I have executed the paper clip methode 4 or 5 times and the driver seems to be loaded ok. The flashtool recognizes the MK808 during the paperclip method. And in normal mode the PC also recognizes the MK808 as a flash drive. But the flash tools does not we the MK808.
One strange thing; every time I restart the MK808 in the Setting I have select "Connect to PC". Apparently the default is not to connect and it does not remember the setting.

Ive noticed that the flashtool will NOT detect my 808 if I have it connected to a USB 3.0 port. If Im flashing I have to be connected to a 2.0 port. Normal file transfer while 808 is running works on USB 3.0 and 2.0 though.

Hey!, First of all thanks for the awesome ROM. It work's like a charm.

I just have a question.. is it possible to implement the "Multi Window" feature in our MK808?

There is an open source solution you can find here: http://www.onskreen.com/cornerstone/

It's some kind of SystemUI hack which you have to build from the given source code.

I have no idea if it's possible to achieve..

Would be a really nice feature for future.

                    Greetings.

Do we have sources for MK808's Android?
Also it fails to connect adb to 1.5a FW. Any tricks there?

Sorry about nagging on about this, but I dont know if my mk808 with finless 1.5a is ok regarding cpu speed scaling.

Would be very thankful if somebody could post a clear instruction on how to adjust cpu clocking and also verify that it is working ok.

Tried different settings in set cpu but it never displays higher running speed than 1008 even though i have set forexample 1400 as max.

                                Hi,

I updated the Youtube app today. This did not really work for me. First of all no full screen button anymore... Using it on my MK808 Mini TV with Finless awsome ROM, without full screen, that's just awfull... Also, I got stabilty issues on my device after the update. These were gone directly when I deinstalled the update. I really liked the black interface a lot better,, much more intuitive also for my kids (but I guess this might be just a matter of taste). Last but not least: A lot of info is hidden behind the navigation bar, unable to scroll down, so info is unaccessible. I reverted back to previous version immediatly, as this is not an improvement.

Many users are complaining about these issues in Google Play aswell, so it has nothing to do with our fine device. I was just wondering if it might be something that others are also experiencing on their MK808, or perhaps people are experiencing issues, which they cannot define, so I thought I post my experiences to inform others.
