Can someone please test this and tell me if any (or all) of it was successful?

Wow! I'm still learning things... I reinstalled root explorer and able to give it su access and "BLAM!", I'm able to select rw or ro, move files to system folder again... I thought I wasn't root because I couldn't gain root access with ADB... Still saying "permission denied when I try to push file to system/app even though su prompt me to grant access to ADB Shell. Now I want to get a working CWM on here and try some custom ROM's... any suggestions. Oh, everything seem to be working good so now can I say THANKZ:thumbup:

Another thing... Have people gave up on trying to get Netflix to work on these tablets and cell phones. Since Netflix last update, I haven't been able to watch Netflix on ANYTHING mobile except my laptop... which never leave home anymore

Oh, I can make an elektricity ROM with all the same features of the elektricity ROM for my 701C if you'd like (now that I know the process is identical). Check the features out (but down download the ROM) for the 701C and tell me if you want me to try to incorporate some of those features...

Should I wait for you to make a ROM for 703c or try the 701c ? The answer is "yes", I would like those feature listed in the 701c on this PMID703c. Also, where can I find that Netflix 1.8.1 download or do I need a JB rom to run Netflix?

Can you post a "for dummies" list of steps so we can do this to other tablets with brain dead firmware? (PMID702c, for example)

Yep! That version did the trick... after watching a few episodes it freezes on my Samsung Admire. I just got home, so now I'll see how it work on the Polaroid. I also want to start reseaching on how to make this PMID703C connect to Ad Hoc wifi. My Ad Hoc network has (*) next it and when I try to connect it says Saved. I have downloaded a wpa_supplicant patch, but I don't know how to install or utilize a ".patch" file. Someone point me where I can find more information on this.

DON'T use the 701C ROM because I don't know what is/isn't compatible with the 703C (I don't own a 703C-feel free to buy me one for development, lol!). It shouldn't be too hard to make a 703C elektricity ROM now that I know it's similar enough (and I've created a factory rooted live suite image for it).

When I was poking around that image, I noticed LOTS of things missing that should have been there (including ADB) so I'm not surprised...

Sure Tron. I've asked Finless to make a sticky thread with a generic post (something like 'modified stock images') that I'm going to use to start posting all the different versions of the live suite images (with instructions for each model, where possible)....Gimme a few and you shall have what you ask for ;-)

Hmm...I had that problem on my 4311 of the network being 'saved' until I changed to WPA2 ONLY on the router for that particular device....dunno if you have that knowledge/option of doing that but it worked for me.
