Elektrik, can you point me in the right direction for instructions on how to get ClockWorkMod on one of these tablets? I can't find one.

Link for your ROM? The one I found I thought said I had to have CW installed first.

Shame, I can't flash your ROM using LiveSuite. I guess it's too big. It is considerably larger than the other ones I've been playing with.

you shouldn't flash my ROM to your device anyways (just yet) ad I don't know what incompatibilities may exist (mine was made for the 701c). ya, it's big. once i get more experience with these bad boyd I'm going to see about paring down the size where possible

Any chance you can stick ClockWorkMod in the ROM you made which I was able to use?

Haha. If I start doing that, then it'll be elektricity ROM (well, ok I have some other things besides that in there)

kkromkit works for you right? In the meantime...patience :-)

Ya know, I'm not even sure what kkromkit is. I'll look into it now.

Thanks for all your hard work. I'm glad I was able to risk sacrificing a tablet for the sake of development.

Thanks for all your testing! I'm glad I was able to risk sacrificing development on elektricity ROM to help you guys :-)

P.S. I updated the sticky thread at the top of the forum here-just point people to that...

I may have dl'ed the wrong version (kkromkit 9)... I install, reset into recovery, perform a backup but the recovery couldnt save something (I might try again and write down what recovey missed)... Well, after reboot I went back into recovery and tried restoring backup. The recovery froze after erasing boot... So I had to reflash the .img you setup for us. So everything back the way it was, except the browser home screen (Google) is in a constant reload loop (prob cause I setup all my apps so quick!) I though I read all the warning and info I could find in a hour or two... We reallt nedd a CWM for our tablets or be ready to start from scratch everytime we screw up! I think I will do the procedure again, take pictures of what went wrong and post it here.

I think the 'newer' version of CWM might work but again, I'd have to build it and you'd test it....

Tell you what-I'll see if I can make a 'quick and dirty' version of the 703C ROM-not quite elektricity, but modified stock with SU/Google play and also boot into CWM.......

                                No guarantees....
