Hello kszaq once again thanks a lot for your great job!
I've discovered a strange funny bug in the 6.0.1.1 release, running on my MXQ s905 : at each boot, the mac adress of the ethernet adapter change! A bit anoying for people using DHCP fixed IP feature + nas NFS authorization based on IP ;-)
Else, another little bug since the 5.0.8.x release, when I play a video, then go into video menu in order to add subtitles, when done, I'm not able to go back / remove the video menu. Most of the time, I need to reboot... Don't know why.

I wanted to try this ROM on my OTT MXQ box (S805) so burned the image as per github instructions onto an SDcard.
I try this, to load ROM from card (want to try before I buy lol) - with unit powered off, insert sdcard, hold reset pin inside AV hole and insert power cord.
The device boots up to a splash screen, then goes to a green Android with the word "Erasing" underneath.
Then boots up as normal but has obviously factory reset, not running openelec off the card.
Any hints? Thanks
(I'm pretty sure my device comes into the category of an All Black MXQ/OTT tv box, so should be compatible?)
Peace.

Can someone post the MK808B plus version of 5.95.5.2 with the MK808B plus bootloader?
I have had no luck with the 6.0+ series releases on my stick. They all boot a few times and then fail to boot after 3 -4 restarts...loads the wifi module and just hangs.
I just want to get my stick back to a working state.

Well, had my MK808B Plus lying and discovered I left it with GOOGLE TV ( not fully implemented !, wifi not working on AP6212). So i loaded last SUPERCELERON 1.4B and went on dowloading IMG.GZ FOR Openelec SDCARD installation, flashed last modified bootimage, then inserted sdcard with 5 files flashed from WIN32 diskimager, but everytime or the device flashes again Bootloader image or boots directly into Android rom ( which works flawlessy, btw ). Checked to have formatted sdcard in fat32, I am lying there from this afternoon! Some suggestions ?
Thanks a lot to KSZAQ ( and the other devs involved ) to have brought to us this wonderful playground !

Thanks. Installed twrp recovery (after finding the right post - #1943, not 1543 :P) but now it won't recognise the sdcard with the 5 openelec system files - is it not possible to run openelec from the sdcard using twrp? Does it have to be installed?
Peace.

Just tried to install 6.0 rebuild and received an error message. I am also getting the same error with MegaTron v1 and v2. I have even tried MegaTron M8 ROM. I keep getting the Footer wrong message installation failed. BUT, now I got 6.0.0.2 to install BUT it is fuzzy static and I can't see anything. I have installed OpenELEC on many devices previously, but this is crazy. 4 separate boxes with static and fuzz. I can't see anything. This isn't going to work. OK, I just got OpenELEC 5.95.3.2 to install and everything is back to the normal OpenELEC screen but now I don't have wifi. I had a feeling I would not have wifi. NOW, I am stuck with the final problem of no longer being able to flash into recovery because now the MXQ screen is gone and the box boots directly into 5.95.3.2 without allowing me to enter recovery. This MXQ is a piece of trash, I am used to flashing s812's and M8's. Does anybody know why 5.95.3.2 will not allow me time to boot into recovery? I am getting an OpenELEC splash screen and the reset button will not work now on 5.95.3.2. When holding the reset button down with .img and .boot files I am getting a STUCK on the Screen OpenELEC splash screen stuck. Very strange. Any help?
Sorry for barging in on your OpenELEC MXQ forum with all of my inquires. I am a long time member of FreakTab and I have had much success with many boxes. This is my worst problem ever in the past 2 years. Very difficult and different problems from what I am used to with the M8.Last edited by NIPSZX; 16 February 2016, 23:34.
