I have the MXQ all black box. 6.0.1.1 worked great. I used the HD18Q built. on nand. (Remote works, Wifi works, Box goes to Suspend mode when Powered off)
However when i try the newer HD18Q built, my box gets into bootloop mode at the MXQ logo screen. I then tried the newer MXQ built on nand and it installs fine and boots up, but my remote will not work. I tried installing remote.config file in the .config folder, but it doesn't work.
Any advice to help me resolve this issue would be appreciated.
Put in in .config (Configfiles over Windows share) folder and reboot.

So my new MXQ box arrived and I think it's the same as the old one, no line around buttons at top of remote, although haven't opened it up yet, It's the A board jed and kosta have I reckon. Bought from this **** seller: http://www.****.co.uk/usr/futuretren...84.m1436.l2754
@kszaq OK, I ran the new build from SD but it was too slow so I installed the MXQ version to Nand and all is pretty good, especially the Wifi, except one small thing! My box will only go into suspend when I try and turn it off from the remote and when OE resumes the Wifi shows as active/connected but doesn't work. If I reboot, which does work from the remote although it sometimes hangs, the Wifi works fine.
One other possible bug is that my portable BluRay player, with disc in, doesn't show from hard-boot but does show if I reboot from remote. I think, will check, that from a hard-boot if I eject and reload the disc it works.
Anyway, thanks K seems like we're getting closer to a really solid build with Jarvis as the cherry on top!
As a side note: I'm looking forward to Jarvis as there are supposed to be real improvements in video quality, although perhaps that's not true for amologic devices, we'll just have to see.
EDIT: OK just checked and I can confirm that portable BluRay device doesn't mount properly from hard-boot as it did with older builds. It's not a big deal as I just have to reboot via remote.
And for those that remember my SanDisK Ultra USB drives getting very hot, well I just put a remote socket on the mains adapter as a work-around and it seems to work alright. This has nothing to do with the BluRay drive not mounting as even if I pull the plug on the back of the box to hard-boot it still doesn't show.
Another small point regarding the GUI is that the smoothness seems to have more to do with having the box set at 60Hz as opposed to 50Hz. Just wondering if there are any possible negatives about the TV keep switching refresh rates, probably not!
EDIT2: Sorry forgot to mention that after hard-boot ejecting and loading disc does work for BluRay drive, easier to just reboot from remote though.Last edited by PatrickJB; 28 February 2016, 13:16.

The HD18Q version is fully working on this cheap $30 box: http://wholesaler.alibaba.com/produc...408744933.html
Only thing is that the volume buttons functioning as home/menu while the home/menu buttons adjusts the volume. That's all
So you can have an openELEC box for thirty bugs(Beware, it has actually 1G RAM instead of 2GB written to the details, but still, it's worth.)

As promised, I started to build Jarvis from current OpenELEC master branch. Source code can be found here: https://github.com/kszaq/OpenELEC.tv...enelec-7.0-wip Beware, I'll make frequent rebases and play with branches, forking is not safe.
Downloads at: http://s805.eu/test/7.0-devel/
Builds are not considered stable as I have tested them for 5 minutes (sound check, video check, network check) and bugs are present. Enjoy!

I am running 6.0.1.4 from MK808B plus stick clone NAND and I just tried BD playback. Blu-Ray playback is working perfectly with HDMV menus from this drive :
LG BE14NU40
http://www.lg.com/us/burners-drives/...-ray-dvd-drive
Playback is flawless...FF, RW, 32x forward all worked as well as any other player.
I just attached the stick to the drive with velcro...now i have a nice portable BD player with Kodi!
Thanks kszaq

I also have a USB-related issue - drives not mounting after a reboot and I still haven't found a fix for it. Maybe some day I'll be able to change this and your Blu-ray issues will be gone as well.
EDIT: Oh and I'll just say again, that my drive did mount on older builds.
