Will do that for the next build. But doesn't the all-black MXQ come with the same remote as Beelink MXQ? Look here: http://www.geekbuying.com/item/H-MXQ...ck-339500.html

Can you please upload a photo of your remote?

    MK809+: reported to be working.
MK808B+: this ROM is made for this device and this is the only one that I have. There is also a version for Realtek 8723BS WiFi clones.
MXQ: works unless it's a clone.

    Thanks Kszag,

The reason why I'm asking is because the MK809 plus has dualband WiFi support. It is a Ustick. Is this the genuine article as linked to from Geekbuying?

    Thanks.

      Hi kszaq,
I have Beelink mxq (with red sign) with the latest your openelec, and I have the followed little problem:
I use the device with cec (LG TV and onkyo avr), when I turn on TV it switch on the avr, but MXQ not started, it must manually start with own remote. After turning on manually, the TV isnt control the mxq (picture I have), must switch manually to mxq (called cec mbox), then work with tv-s remote.
I think the cec configuration at mxq not properly configured.
      Thanks for helping..

Another user has reported that dual-band WiFi in MK809+ works with this ROM. All the drivers and firmware are there. You should simply flash the MK808B+ version.

I think that this is how it should work. The reason why your MXQ is not powered on is that your TV does not send the power on command. This is how my MK808B+ works - I have to turn it on in my TV's menu. I made a test a few days ago with someone else's PS3 and it is also not powered on by the TV.

          Hi,
My TV is brand new 4k Lg, and my avr turning on automatically, and I replace the mxq to my raspberry pi2, and pi2 working good.

Or how can I avoid from power off my kxq, but I want keep avr auto on/off function?

You can't avoid turning off the MXQ while keeping automatic AVR turn on/off function unless you can individually select the devices to turn off in your TV (I don't know if that is even possible with any TV). There is nothing you can configure about CEC in the MXQ right know (see known issues).

                Hi kszaq,
I have MK808B+ with your openelec (latest test version 5.0.8-20150501).
                Some problems:
                1. cputemp and gputemp always show 0
                2. Keyboard layouts - i can't change layout in kodi to ru_win

cesarpt: You should look at other forums and check if solutions posted to similar issues work for you. Is your tuner connected via a powered USB hub?

ink08: I'll check if it's the same for me later today.

kszaq my tuner is connected directly to MK808+ directly with OTG cable, do you think it may be a power issue ?

                      Hi Kszaq,
I've noticed on the HD18Q rom that if I try to set a static IP address it doesn't save it and reverts back to DHCP. It does this on both wired and wireless settings.

MXQ build works on Tronfy MXQ which is basically identical to Beelink, just have Tronfy logo printed on top.

I think it is the cheapest unit shipping from UK on **** uk with optical audio output

                        Edit: Bluetooth doesn't work

Thank you for this information. I placed an order for the MK809 Plus from Geekbuying.

Can't wait to flash my first SoC Amlogic S805 mini computer with openelec.

Hi kszaq, the latest 5.0.8p7 boots extremely quickly compared to the previous 5.0.8 releases on my Beelink MXQ. Is there any way that the Home button on the remote can be mapped to get to the home menu? At the moment it is just like another return key. Thanks for the top effort mate!

MXQ build also works on my MXQ (2nd gen) sold by pigflytech, though the bluetooth doesnt seem to be working, but thats fine for me.

                                Hi kszaq
Just noticed that Bluetooth doesn't work on my box Tronfy MXQ clone as well.

That is the link for official firmware if you care to incorporate the bluetooth driver in to your MXQ build. Probably the same driver would work on some other clones. Everything else works fine and boot is very quick.

                                Thanks for great rom.
