NEW - U30GT H 1.10 900supersport 1.1

Here's a finalised version of this ROM, it is a full 900supersport 1.1 ROM.

ROM=>U30GT H 1.1 900supersport 1.1 ROM (274 meg)

Notes

• Flashing will delete everything on your Cube consider backing up first and remve any sdcard
• If you are on the Beta then follow post 15 to get to the full ROM

Instructions

• Download and extract to a folder
• connect the tab to the PC (you did remove the sdcard)
• start the ROM flash tool
• put the tab into flash mode, the PC should detect it
• erase idb
• flash
• the tab should boot to recovery (this will take a few minutes)
• select reboot
• the tab should now boot
• first boot will probably complain about the nand simply select and format

Let me know how this goes.

• touch based clockwork recovery
• 2 gigs apps space
• init.d support
• root, debloat, market fixes, english by default

Finally thanks those of you who downloaded the BETA and confirmed it working, a sepcial to Cel1971 for the testing he put in on the 1.09 firmware, without which this would have taken much longer, and the team here at freaktab, Finless gave me the missing piece to get the kernel sorted, as without their support I wouldn't be doing this.

Currently the ROM dev's here are putting ROMs on Goggle Drive, DropBox, etc. But as you know these can be overwhelmed with downloads! So our policy has changed. FEEL FREE to put our roms UNCHANGED on mirriors, however can you credit freaktab and include and reference back to the original thread here if you post them elsewhere.

Flashed as instructed, all working good so far and will test for the rest of the day and let you know if I find any issues. Like the Touch CWM offered with this ROM.

May I ask if the 1.04 vin8ui was ever rooted?

Also is their a way to preserve your system similar to a backup? i use titanium, but it doesn't seem to image or preserve the core of the OS...

Which kernel is installed by default?
I've got a feeling its not the one delivered with the New 1.10 Firmware, but Im not sure.

For recovery then I'm using the kernel from 1.06. If you boot normally then the kernel from 1.10 should be used. What makes you think it's using the earlier kernel?

The kernel info....I thought I knew it before....but obviously I´m wrong.
I just flashed...nothing else....so it has to be the new one.

V1.09 was so much better than V1.07 right?
I´m really very surprised that V1.10 is another step forward performancewise.
You can feel it....or is it placebo?

My u30gt h is broken so I am working blind on this. I have to rely on feedback to tell me how good or otherwise the ROM is.

What does the system info have to say about the kernel?

I think I have the 1.10 kernel booting standalone now. This should give us the ability to get my customised boot.img into play.

Instructions

• go to the 900supersportROM folder
• rename kernel.img kernel1.06.img
• rename boot.img boot.img.stock
• rename boot900s.img boot.img
• rename kernel110s.img kernel.img
• Flash just boot.img and kernel.img, no need to EraseIDB
• if the tab boots then we are on a full 900supersport 1.1 ROM with init.d support

if not undo the changes we have just made and reflash just boot and kernel.
