NEW - U30GT H 1.10 900supersport 1.1

I think I have the 1.10 kernel booting standalone now. This should give us the ability to get my customised boot.img into play.

Cube 1.10 Kernel

Instructions

• go to the 900supersportROM folder
• rename kernel.img kernel1.06.img
• rename boot.img boot.img.stock
• rename boot900ss.img boot.img
• Flash just boot.img and kernel.img, no need to EraseIDB
• if the tab boots then we are on a full 900supersport 1.1 ROM with init.d support

if not undo the changes we have just made and reflash just boot and kernel.

Please let me know how this works out.

I do not understand, what with the new kernel do nothing?
Why do we want then the file "kernel110s.img"?

The new kernel allows the cube to boot with cubes latest kernel and my customised boot.img. Most users will not notice the difference other than maybe the screen that loads during boot. If you wanted to make use of init.d scripts then it's a big advantage.

My u30gt h is broken so I am working blind on this. I have to rely on feedback to tell me how good or otherwise the ROM is.

What does the system info have to say about the kernel?

I want to try, I do not understand is this part "rename kernel.img kernel1.06.img"
So what kernel flashing? Not used file "kernel110s.img"

I can also confirm that it boots fine... also distinct multi touch (2 finger rotate) works in 1.10.

I remember that you recommended some applications for our cubes, one of them allowed to reboot directly to recovery mode, I think that this is very useful and you should include it in your ROMs, can you remind me where can I find this application?

That would be petrus's reboot app. Look in 'main category', 'app developers kitchen'

Another Rom tried that does not fix the wifi issue, any help please? is it a hardware issue or software?
