no wifi probs anymore at all!!!

problem installing the rom, every time when its checking download data it stops after 27741 size is 440098
download the file several times.

anybody idees or a other link , file was 261mb before unzip

I just saw it is a bigger file...the tab shuts down pretty much everything including the wifi-connection when screen is off for a while.
I remember having that problem myself. Programming error from cube since my galaxy note is able to behave better

Keep the tab awake or raise the time to power saving when downloads like this are made.

The full version should be a rar file of 274 mb. Normally I would expect the un-compress to fail if you did not have a full download. Usual advice is to use a quality cable and rear USB port.

Please don't confuse 900ss advice to spridget's install issue with staygold's WiFi issue? Two different problems from different people....

@ Staygold my tablet is happily waking up from sleep and connecting to WiFi so no issues for me but in earlier ROMs I had to flash a WiFi fix that mostly worked.
@Spridget have a look at the other 1.1 (1.07) thread as Magnifico made a good post on how to select and use a quality USB cable for flashing. Maybe he could offer it again here? I vaguely remember the flasher tool crashing during the check on my laptop and if I ignored the pop-up to close it finished checking.

If Wifi is turning off when screen is off, you might need to change wifi sleep policy.

Settings -> Wifi -> Menu -> Advanced -> Keep Wi-Fi On During Sleep -> Always

On an aside I was using Tabmodder's Infected v2 while I was waiting for 900ss offerings and his build prop allowed Gameloft games to work. I can't get Asphalt 6 to work on this ROM, even with the Build prop changes for Gameloft suggested on Slatedroid. Does anyone have suggestions to get these games working on this ROM?

That's the right download. I suspect the 261, 274 is based on binary and decimal thousands (1024 and 1000 respectively).

Has anyone sucessfuly downloaded and installed from this link.

What wifi issue?

It came whilst I was on the 'cleaned' 1.04 rom. I was happy with that rom and tablet worked fine. suddenly wifi stopped working. it came back the following day then went again and never came back. i have used every rom in the universe and no luck. my seller tells me to send it back to china but i am still trying to fix it myself.

any help is welcome. I believe it is a hardware fault but want to exhaust all scenarios before i send it back

You could open up the tab and check the soldering on the cable from the main board to the wireless receiver. Its a coaxial cable and both the inner and the outer should be connected.
