I'm in the middle of my exams period as well so I don't have that much time. But I will be finished with them (exams) on the 6th of June. I'll try my best to update the version on play store the weekend after and continue from there. I'll implement the new beta and alpha testing functions with the new play services.
Hope you all understand my situation.
Please don't believe I've abandoned this project.I just need to do first thing first, and that's school.

TVLauncher v. 2.80 Beta
Sorry for the long delay. Hopefully I can update much more often now, since I have a lot more time on my hand.
Changelog (also available in the app)
- Added back: Wallpaper for homescreen (more options coming soon)
- Added: Home screen transition (Tablet effect) (more transition options coming soon)
- Fixed: Much better DPad support.</change>
- Fixed: Folder bitmap is much more effective</change>
- Fixed: Bugs</change>
- Note: I have now bought a new android media tv system, with a controller, so development will start to be much more focused on dpad use, rather than touch. (Touch will still be supported and developed for, but the choices I make will be more towards dpad support)

I am really looking forward to installing and using the new update, but I've been having some problems I'm hoping you can help me out with. Since the last version, I am unable to change the banners for my spaces. Whatever the banner for the first space was is what it sets as the banner for the rest of my spaces. I actually think it started randomly, as in it initially worked fine but then started acting up. I tried uninstalling the app and removing any data files I could find, and then reinstalling, but that didn't fix it. Finally, I just hoped the new update would fix it somehow, and I completely uninstalled (using root uninstaller) before installing the update. But I am still unable to change the banners for the spaces. Is anybody else experiencing this issue? Any guidance on how to fix it would be greatly appreciated.
Also, the update says wallpapers are back, but I can't seem to find the option to change the wallpaper.

I think with the wallpapers, the option to change them is coming, since he says "more options coming soon", because I can't find any settings anywhere either so I'm guessing it's intentional for now.
I have to say though, Sam, that the background was a welcome return, and I like the animation when moving between screens.

Also, that makes sense about the wallpapers. I looked over where it said "more options coming." Thanks for clearing it up.

Hi,
@vs604: I'll look into the banner problem. And yes, you'll be able to change wallpapers soon enough. I just didn't have the time. I'm currently in sweden for my brothers wedding, but I'll be back again on friday, so I'll try to fix the banners and add wallpaper functionality then. And hopefully other fixes and features.

Sv: TVLauncher 2.0
Installed latest beta and now d-pad works better, but is still a bit sketchy. Sometimes moving through tiles with d-pad stops working. Almost as if the cursor get stuck in the top row buttons. Have to use touch pad to click on a tile to get d-pad navigation to work again.
Another thing that bothers me is that it's not working to move tiles if I want to reorder them. Only thing working here is putting a tile on top of another to create a folder.
Hope you can have a look at these issues, Sam.
