      IGNOR THIS POST!!!!

I have been having a fiddle with the home directory in ESfile explorer and set it to data, now I can find the files. Bloody IT! (and I do it every day LOL)

I have flashed and have limited apps in the android market after logging on with my account. I re-flashed just incase and it is still the same. I have 2 arnova 10 G2's the other one is fine with full android market. I have tried the following step to no avail. I have ES file Manager, I have set root access but I have no data directory in the root, I have one under android/data and some folders in the same format but not the ones mentioned below, any ideas?

      a) Again using a file manager that has root access go in and delete the follow folders from the /data/data directory.

        Hi

I had the same problem with the Market place in version 1.3. I found "Market" in my applications and deleted the "Data". After I did this, I saw the full Market place. I haven't updated yet. I will do later. Many, many thanks Bob. You are the greatest

ES File explorer by defualt sets you to the /sdcard. So thats what your seeing. You have to go into settings and enable root explorer and show hidden files! Then in the settings set the "home directrory" to just / Again by default the home directory is set to /sdcard.
Then drop out of setting and go to the home director and now you will see /sata etc.

For everybody else not getting full market PLEASE read the instructions as I tell you how to fix that. My process has fixed anyone having this issue as other processes like delete data cache in the app manager does not always work! So far my process has worked 100%.

This is much better than the nonsense firmware on arctablet. Will visit this site instead.

I've played a bit with it. It works really well so far. For me the market worked directly without needing the trick.
This time, no problem for me
I installed a whole bunch of apps. The extra size in the internal memory is really neat

And I'm glad I finally have a rooted firmware, to get rid of those annoying ads everywhere

What tools are required to unpack/repack the image files? I'd like to play with the splash screen and boot animation myself (and I saw on Arctablet blog that a few months ago Finless was having problems with the process).

                            Thanks in advance.

You gotta love the faster boot time from cold power up!
It's still slow in my opinion (thats Android OS) but it's 1/2 of what it use to be. I have 104 apps installed and it use to take almost 5 minutes to fully boot up. Now it is less that 2.5 minutes easy!

                                Glad your liking the ROM
I enjoyed doing this one more than even my first ROM because it was a joint effort and a lot of fun!
